Pat Smear
Pat Smear's Amplifiers
Pat is seen in this image playing through a Peavey 6505.
Like you can see on this photo, Pat played a amp head Sovtek MIG 50 during the first Foo Fighters show (02/19/1995), and (maybe) shows after, before switch to his Mesa/Boogie Studio Preamp, if I'm not mistaken (that you can see on the live at Brixton Academy).
This early Foo Fighters show pictures Pat Smear using the Mesa/Bogie Studio Preamp through the Crown Power amp, the same rig that he used while playing in Nirvana. 22:28 into the video you can clearly see the rack.
In the Foo Fighters "Making a Fire" Video on youtube, you can see the artist using a Wizard MCII. Also see facebook post by Wizard Amplification.
