Going off of the layout of the bass he is holding in this live shot, it appears he played an EB-3 bass in the latter days of his time in Tuxedomoon.

Peter Principle, in addition to playing the EB-3 bass guitar, used the Gibson SG Deluxe electric guitar in several compositions. After 2004, Peter shifted to playing exclusively bass, even in songs where he originally played the guitar.
This is evidenced by a live performance with Tuxedomoon at TVE studios in Madrid broadcast by La Edad de Oro on March 26, 1985, as shown in a video uploaded by kigonjiro on YouTube.
