In the "Williamsburg" music video, PJ DeCicco is seen using a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar in Montego Black, which can be seen again in the "How Far Apart" music video, and was presumably used for "The Rain Museum" era. During the "Smile For Them" era, this guitar was one of two Stratocasters he used during live shows, the other being a red Highway One HSS Strat.

In the music video for "Hold The Door" by Armor For Sleep, PJ DeCicco is seen using a red Fender Stratocaster Highway One HSS. This same guitar, appearing road-worn(?), is also featured in live performances. During the "Smile For Them" era, this instrument was one of two Stratocasters used by DeCicco, alongside an American Deluxe HSS in Montego Black.

PJ DeCicco is seen using a Fender Telecaster Thinline Deluxe in the official music video for "Car Underwater," produced by Equal Vision Records. Additionally, this guitar appears in a live performance of "Dream To Make Believe." It is noteworthy that lead singer Ben Jorgensen also used the Thinline in a 2005 performance of "Awkward Last Words," as featured on the Bastards of Young DVD.

PJ DeCicco has been confirmed to use the Gibson Les Paul Standard Doublecut Electric Guitar, as evidenced by a photograph shared by Prevent Falls on Instagram. The image, taken during a live performance in the summer of 2002 at The Somber Reptile, shows the guitar present on stage. The guitar was used throughout the WTDWYD-era Armor For Sleep, live and possibly in studio.
