This is a custom pedal that Ryan devolped with Walrus Audio. It gives that classic Adam's shimmer to everything and includes a 10 dB boost. Adams declared the whole idea was for when he would switch from Les Paul to Telecaster guitars and not having to change any of his settings to adjust to the volume difference of each guitar.

Ryan Adams - in the early days with the Cardinals (2005-2007,) used a Fender Vibro King along with between one to three Princeton Reverbs, depending on venue size. He also used one or two Vibro King 2x12 cabs with this setup. He can be seen using this setup in any live performances from this era to include the Letterman performance of Let It Ride and the Avatar Sessions.
