Released on July 11, 2020, the Korg Krome EX fripSide Special Edition is collaboration between Korg and Satoshi Yaginuma of fripSide. This limited-edition model is not only visually striking, featuring fripSide's signature color, but it also serves as a versatile tool in Yaginuma's live performances.
Yaginuma often brings the Krome EX on stage as a sub workstation, and for smaller live tours, he sometimes even uses it as his main workstation, showcasing its reliability and flexibility.
In his own words, Yaginuma chose this color because it looks great on stage, especially with the aluminum body that reflects lighting beautifully.
