Me and my Rick! Back on tour in ‘88. I always loved Lemmy and Motörhead, so as I saved up enough money I bought this used Rickenbacker on 48th Street in NYC - I believe at 48th Street Guitars. It was my 2nd main bass after my Phantom!

'For me, the RH40 is all that I need - the sound coming from this tiny head blew me away the first time I played it! Loud, aggressive, powerful, and full clear tones - I love it. And for the first time, I don't have to ask someone to help me move my gear - that is one of my favorite things about the RH50. A lot of time we fly in for one-off gigs, and now I can bring my amp as easy as my bass!'

In the official music video for "Thunder Kiss '65" by White Zombie, Sean Yseult can be seen playing a Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV - Metallic Black at the 1:13 mark. Additionally, Sean Yseult mentioned in an interview, "J. and I both were playing Charvels at that time—we got them because Sam Ash was having a crazy sale on them right around when we were about to record, and if I remember correctly, Slayer played on Charvels then, so we thought they must be the right guitars! I was always going for a heavy but clear sound—not too bright, but also not muffled or soft."
