Description

Meet the Ampeg SVT 3 Pro, a true embodiment of the classic SVT tone with a modern twist. It is a lightweight bass head with an arsenal of tone-shaping tools, combining both tube and solid-state technology for a unique and versatile sound.

The SVT 3 Pro boasts three 12AX7 tubes in the preamp stage, added with another 12AX7 and a 12AU7 for a rich, full-bodied drive. These tubes provide the warm, classic sound that bassists crave, while the solid-state power section ensures reliable and consistent performance.

The amp's frequency control allows you to select the center frequency for the midrange control, offering five distinct voices for the midrange. The center frequencies range from 220Hz to 3kHz, giving you the flexibility to shape your sound to your liking.

Additionally, the 9-band graphic EQ allows further customization of your tone, making the SVT 3 Pro a real chameleon of bass tones. Whether you're playing smooth jazz, aggressive rock, or anything in between, this amp has got you covered.

The only bass amp you'll ever need!

Basically the perfect bass head. Pair with a nice eq into the power amp for a more distorted tone, or just use it as is for that classic rock bass tone. I generally pair it with an ADAM and a GED-2112.

Best Amp ever

The best head in history, combining the valve sound thanks to its pre-stage and the power of 450 watts of MOSFET type.

LOVE THE SVT

I am an Ampeg guy through and through, and the SVT-3Pro is a must have, it is a hybrid tube/solid state amp that brings in that classic 70's tube sound, that also has a warm tone. great amp to use live or in studio.

Great sounding amp

I changed from EBS to Ampeg, Both ammps sound very good, but Ampeg is more the sound I look for in a bass amp.Especially in combination with the Sans Amp pre its is a wall of bass but with the harmonics!
