Serj Tankian is seen using his Custom Serj Tankian Guitar - Personally Autographed & Extremely Limited Edition during System of a Down’s live performance at PinkPop 2017, as captured in a video by ObeyYourSysteM on YouTube. This solid body electric guitar features a natural satin finish with artwork and an autograph by Tankian himself. It is crafted with a lightweight mahogany body, a hard American maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. The hardware includes a Schaller GTM bridge, Schaller M6 machine heads, and Seymour Duncan TB-4 pickups, all in black. Only 25 of these guitars are available through serjtankian.com.

In this picture Serj can be seen using Daron Malakian's Big Apple Stratocaster, previously used by Daron to record the 1998 self-titled System of a Down album and briefly during the following tour before switching to Ibanez guitars full-time. Serj would begin using this guitar in 2002 all the way up until 2006.
