Seth Morrison's Amplifiers
Seth is using a Mesa Boogie Dual Rec for his rhythm and lead tones.
Beginning in 2015, Seth is now combining his Dual-Rec with PRS Archon.
NO LONGER IN USE. On Seth's Instagram page, he posted an updated shot of his amp setup, and the Vox has been replaced by a Tyler. https://www.instagram.com/p/BQCEf02l9p8/?taken-by=morrisonseth&hl=en
For most of his career with Skillet, Seth is been using a Vox AC-30HH for his cleaner tones. He has another one that acts as his backup. The amp can be shown at 9:03.
In Seth's rig, he's a Mesa/Boogie Rectifier Traditional cab for his Dual Rect.
We can see at around 4:32 Seth uses two Vox heads one as a main and the other a backup.
Seth replaced the Vox with a Tyler HM30, as seen in the Instagram post linked. In the comments, he states "...It's my "clean" amp. It's the HM30 @tyleramps"
(No stock image of the HM30 head could be found, so a stock image of the HM30 combo was attached).
In the video "Pedal Profile - Seth Morrison of Skillet - Wampler Pedals" by Wampler Pedals, at 9:27, Seth Morrison refers to one of his cabinets as a Mesa/Boogie Road King 2x12.
Seth uses a Revv generator 120 mk3 in his main live Rig. The Revv amp is taking the place of Seth’s Prs archon 50, Just like the prs archon 50, He appears to have the Revv generator on at the same time as his mesa boogie dual rectifier. The archon 50 that the Revv replaced appears to be part of Seth’s back up Rig
In a recent live stream from the Skillet App, Seth Morrison revealed that he’s currently trying out the new Mesa Boogie 90s dual rectifier on the current tour. More than likely he’s using it as his main amp. Taking the place of his Mesa boogie dual rectifier Rev F.
