Stephen O'Malley uses the Oto Machines BIM, a studio-quality delay processor, known for its unique ability to enhance the droning sound typical in his performances. This effect is achieved through its analog and 12-bit circuitry, providing a sweet degradation and dark damping reminiscent of a tape delay.
