Stone Gossard has used the Matchless DC-30 2x12 Combo Amp on stage for several years. However, during parts of Pearl Jam's Hawaii and Australia tour and throughout their U.S. tour last summer, he transitioned to using a Savage Audio Blitz 50 2x12 Combo Amp for his live performances. This performance of "Hail Hail" on Letterman, as captured by TheSteved111 on YouTube, showcases the DC-30.
In the 1992 Pinkpop Festival performance, Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam can be seen using a Marshall JCM800 2203 guitar amplifier head.
For parts of last spring's Hawaii/Australia tour, and for all of last summer's U.S. tour, Stone switched to a Savage Audio "Blitz 50" 50w 2x12" combo amp for his stage sound.
