Takeshi Ohtani's Guitars

"Another one is the dual guitar-bass that we built for Takeshi from Boris. I'm a huge Boris fan, and they wanted to come by when they were in the New York area a while back. I said, "Absolutely!" [laughs] He literally came by with mechanical drawings from a friend of his in Japan of what he roughly wanted."

In the live video "Boris - Live at Skylight, NY 16 10 2004 (Feedbacker DVD Bootleg)" by Marko Čović, Takeshi Ohtani can be seen using a modified Ibanez 2404 Double Neck Guitar/Bass, identifiably not a Gibson by the headstock shape and headstock decal, as well as being identifiably modified by the DiMarzio Number One bass pickup in the neck position. Additionally, this modified instrument is featured on the cover of "Akuma no Uta."
