Tyler Joseph's Bass Guitars
Tyler Joseph is using one Squier (by Fender) Jaguar Short Scale Bass in this music video.
Tyler is playing a white Bass in the 'My Blood' Video. His known Squier Jaguar Short scale is hanging on the wall to the right along with a Uke and 2 other Basses, but one slot is missing (obviously the Bass he is playing). In the Beats 1 / Apple Music Interview the white Precision Bass can be seen behind Tyler on the wall.
In the entirety of the 'Ride' music video he is using this bass. In the Bonaroo concert video from 26:13 to 32:35 he is using it for No Women No Cry and Ride.
A Fender Mustang PJ bass is seen hanging on the wall in the official audio video for "My Blood". It can be identified as the PJ model by the full-sized Precision pickup (standard Mustang Basses have their own much smaller split coil pickup). It is most likely Torino Red.
it can be seen throughout this video behind tyler next to his whire bass but the full body can be best seen at 32:06 where you can see how exact it matches the Fender player series jazz bass.
Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots is seen using a Fender American Original '50s Precision Bass in White Blonde with a gold pickguard, as noted in a Pinterest post by ari. The post highlights the distinctive 'my fren' tape on his bass guitars.
He plays what appears to be a white player series p-bass with a Pau ferro fretboard at 27:06
A Fender Jazz Bass of some description can be seen hanging on the wall in the official audio video for "My Blood".
Said bass can be seen at the 3:06 mark. Only seen being used in this video to date.
Taken from Tyler's Instagram. A Schecter Hellcat VI is hung up in his home studio next to his short scale Jaguar bass used in the Blurryface era. The point has been brought up that this is incorrect because Tyler's is white and the stock image on equipboard is sunburst. If you follow this link you will see the same instrument, just in white and it's identical to Tyler's.
You can see Tyler using a blue Fender roadworn JB at 2:06.
You can see it on a stand in the background at 1:36 on the left side of the screen.
He uses this in performances of chlorine. You can see it at 0:57
it can clearly be seen behind tyler at 31:55 next to his other red bass thats next to his white bass as hes talking in his interview. it also has the sticker reading "fender" on it, identifying if possitively as a fender.
During the Bandito Tour in December, a concert photo published by 105.7 The Point shows Tyler Joseph playing a Fender Precision Bass.
You can see an AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL PRECISION BASS (antique olive) in the wall at 00:31
In the official video for "Shy Away" by Twenty One Pilots, Tyler Joseph is seen playing a Fender American Standard Precision Bass.
You can see it at 1:24 in the video.
In a live performance video of Next Semester live debut at Bowery Ballroom NYC. Tyler Joseph is observed playing a Fender Special Edition Noir Precision Bass. This particular model has been modified by Joseph, featuring a vintage-style thumb rest and a distinctive, wide headstock and a light colored neck. Further evidence of this customization can be seen in the next photograph, showcasing the unique aspects of the bass guitar in detail. During the official videos from the album Clancy you can see Tyler Joseph playing a Fender Standard Precision Bass 2017 – Black, Maple Fretboard, for example en Midwest Indigo, Next Semester and Navigating, but he doesn't play it live. I don't know if he used it for recording or not.

It's the 2017 version, but I had to put 2011 because 2017 it didn't appear, but I think it's the same bass
For example, in Midwest Indigo, Next Semester and Navigating, he doesn't play it live though.
I don't know if he used it for recording or not.
In this image, Tyler Joseph is using a Fender Precision Vintera '50s bass with a gold pickguard and a black body.
