Excellent bass, would reccomend to anyone who wants a short scale bass
When I was in 5th grade, all I wanted for Christmas was a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Short Scale Electric Bass. I remember seeing it for the first time hanging on the wall of my local music store. Without ever trying it, I got it, and all these years later it continues to amaze me. The neck is of superb quality with a smooth satin finish, and the fret edges feel round and peaceful like fret edges should. I personally enjoy the tone of the bass, although the pots are rather cheap and I have rewound the P bass pickups to my own liking. If you do not currently own this bass, you are missing out on one of the best value instruments ever produced.

A great beginner bass
The fender Squier Jaguar bass was my first bass. It was great to learn on as it has a short scale which allows younger people to learn the bass. The tone is beautiful and very smooth which creates a groovy feel. It has a P coil pickup as the neck pickup and a Jazz pickup for the bridge. The neck is a maple with a rosewood fretboard. It is very light which makes it easy to travel with.

Fantastic
Being a guitar player mainly, this bass feels like home. The shorter scale is easy to play, and the bass itself is very light, which makes it great for gigs also. It has been great for me for gigs, home, and studio. No where I wouldn't want to take this bass with me.
