Zubin Sedghi

Zubin is seen playing a Jazz Bass in this photo, this was his main bass guitar until 2007 when he switched to a Fender Jaguar as his main bass.

Starting in 2006, Zubin would have a second Jazz Bass on standby as a backup. This video shows the only known time of him using the backup Jazz Bass. This happened at the Troubadour in 2011, where he broke a string on his Jaguar bass early in the setlist, seemingly the first (and only) time this happened.

In this user-uploaded photo, Zubin Sedghi of Tally Hall is seen using a Fender Deluxe Jaguar Bass, which he also plays during live performances.

In this video, Zubin is seen playing a Mexican Fender Precision bass, evident from the MZ serial number and "Made in Mexico" on the headstock. The headstock is best visible at 6:16.

In this photo from a 2007 Tally Hall surprise guest concert with Jukebox The Ghost, Zubin is seen playing a 5 string Fender Jazz Bass.

In this photo (sourced from hiddeninthesand.com), Zubin Sedghi can be seen using a black Yamaha RBX260 bass guitar in a concert at The Blind Pig on February 5th, 2003.

The reason it is an RBX260 rather than the similar RBX170 is due to the knobs and pickup configuration. The RBX170 has 3 knobs and a precision-jazz style of pickups, whereas the RBX260 only has two knobs and only the precision-style pickups. The image used obscures the headstock, but in another image from the same concert, the headstock can be seen, which matches with the RBX260 headstock.

Zubin Sedghi of Tally Hall is confirmed to use a modified Fender PB-62 Precision Bass '62 Reissue during the creation of "Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum." This is evidenced by the Jazz pickup and the cramped knobs visible in the image provided. Source Image
