Perfect bass

I got this bass for about 15 years and this is the perfect device! I have had many guitars over the years, bu t this one i always come back to. It is very lightweight so I can play gig for many hours, the neck is slick and the tone is deep. In my opinion mine is probably the best one ever made, because it is impossible that this instrument was so cheap when it was brand new and I still can't believe that it was made in Taiwan. It's just too perfect :D

Comfortable, good weight, robust: An Old Reliable one!

I have this bass for almost 20 years. The pitch is almost perfect. The pins are very reliable. You can go months without detuned. His thin neck makes it very comfortable to play. Ideal for study or travel.

In this photo (sourced from hiddeninthesand.com), Zubin Sedghi can be seen using a black Yamaha RBX260 bass guitar in a concert at The Blind Pig on February 5th, 2003.

The reason it is an RBX260 rather than the similar RBX170 is due to the knobs and pickup configuration. The RBX170 has 3 knobs and a precision-jazz style of pickups, whereas the RBX260 only has two knobs and only the precision-style pickups. The image used obscures the headstock, but in another image from the same concert, the headstock can be seen, which matches with the RBX260 headstock.
