A project studio owner I worked for got tons of free auralex 'solutions' in a discontinued color from a buddy of his who worked there. All we did was rob some cool sounding rooms of character and create a mix space so dead that it was impossible to create mixes in it.
I eventually insisted we pull all of it down and start over. This stuff was incredibly useful for creating moving baffles (gobos in the parlance of the industry). As far as the mix space was concerned? I wound up using a dualt layer approach with the auralex on the ceiling to remove it from the equation, but the corner pieces were totally worthless as bass traps, so I built some traps fro supplies purchased at Home Depot. I cannot say enough bad things about auralex as a 'total room control solution' but it is incredibly useful to have some around to attack certain problems in spaces that are not designed for music performance or critical listening.

Diaphragm condenser microphone
Closely resembles the NT1-A, but the microphone has been completely redesigned from the ground up, with the only shared component being the mesh grille. Used for podcasts and producing.

Best OS, lousy form factor
Okay, the form factor of the iPhone 6 is terrible. They even made the mistake of putting the 'exit' button right where you put you thumb when making a picture. But it OS is perfect. That's why I still prefer iPhone over Android.

Since 2011 I've been a fan of the iMac. I love the design and it's OS enables me to do my work hassle free.

My best companion
Wherever I go, this recorder is connected to the DJ booth. What I love is that it's plug and play. The only thing I'd love it to have is wifi.
