Wish it had a patchbay
Why aren't keyboard stand companies building in patchbays for cables, AND POWER?

Oh the possibilities
I'm a keyboardist and I use this to house a Korg Minilogue, KP3, and a bunch of pedals. This is the closest thing to a keyboardist-friendly pedalboard I've ever seen.
I only with there were an easy way to add a regular-old plug strip. I've added my own to the bottom but it's not a fun process. My keyboards won't run on a Voodoo Labs (though I have one of those mounted too).

The beast -- and very easy to use
How can a synth be this powerful but also this easy to understand? Arturia really knocked it out of the park on this one and you'll be hearing a lot of it on album 3.

The mothership
The sounds are great. I use it for sample-based stuff: pianos, electric pianos, strings, pads. I also use the sequencer to run my whole show. From there I can easily change voices and control internal, software, and external sounds. The touchscreen is awesome

Unique and beautiful
Some people criticize the Minilogue for not having enough dirt and grime and bottom end. EVERY synth on the market has that. What it does have is a gorgeous sound, cool modulation, unique features and ease of use. If I want to quickly dial in a sound I can do it in 5 minutes or less.

Does what it says it does
What a fun VST! It does exactly what it says it does, and it's a lot of fun to play with

Want a MASSIVE sound in a single set of speakers?
Have a nightclub? Live music venue? Need some great sounding earth-shattering speakers? A set of these can easily fill even a medium sized room without the need for line arrays and in some settings even without subs. Who knew two speakers could put out this kind of power and still sound so damned good?
The secret -- huge 15" woofers, and three other speaker drivers to cover the mids and highs. Fantastically pro.

Since I can't afford a Neumann U-47...
This mic sounds great on my vocals. Run it through an Avalon VT-737sp or a Universal Audio 6176 and you've got yourself a spectacular microphone for a fraction of the cost of the U-47... which still makes it pretty expensive, but affordably so

Quite fine
This thing sounds great. Came bundled with the Akai MPK Mini and I'm loving it. Simple, easy, straightforward -- nice to turn to when you just want a great synth patch, especially leads, pads, and basses

Amazing quality, add some handles/pole mounts and put on a show
Designed for installations, I had these modified by Terry Hanley Audio Systems (Terry and his brother Bill ran sound for Woodstock -- LEGENDS). Now they have handles, speaker mounts, and Speakon plugs. I'm definitely the only guy I know who's using install speakers at live gigs, but people RAVE about how good these sound.
Fully arrayable, but caution -- it's not about the volume with these guys, it's the quality. Perfect for live theater or wedding bands/DJing where quality is more important than collapsing eardrums.

Old school cool
The legend! Sure, there are newer drum machines but this thing still sounds great, is easy to use, and is fun as hell.

Truly amazing microphone
One of my favorites. Spectacular off-axis rejection, clear and loud sound. I used it live until I got my EV ND76, now my brother uses this. Can't wait to someday try the PR35

Amazing, yet buggy
It regularly crashes, and the touch interface on the Surface Pro 4 does not work well with Analog Lab 1 or 2. Still, it's an amazing value and the sounds are fantastic. It just needs some finishing touches.

Louder & clearer than an SM58 or BETA 58
For just $129, EV has made a microphone that is louder and clearer than both the SM58 and the Beta 58, and has more off-axis rejection to boot. This is an amazing microphone

Amp modeling sounds great on keys
The screen no longer works, but I run the aux outs of my Ion into the Pod XT so I can mix the wet/dry signal manually live, rolling in the distortion when needed.

The secret sauce
One of the greatest synths ever made and I will never get rid of it. It's almost knob-per-function, except that it's got even deeper parameters than that. The mod matrix is amazing. TWO MOD WHEELS?! The multi-mode filters can run in parallel or series, and they both recreate classics and have their own unique modes.
On my rig, the main output responds to the volume knob and goes to the mixer. The aux output level is set in the menus and goes to the Line 6 Pod XT. That way I can blend distortion with the dry signal.
The only problem -- it's old. PLEASE, ALESIS, MAKE A NEW ONE! I want USB patch editing and empty presets to make my own voices. And reverb!

16 years old and still legendary
I've relegated this one to my basement because I bought the Krome 88.
I've upgraded the floppy drive. Now I can plug in a USB thumb drive, formatted to 999 1.44mb sectors. Still, the Triton sequencer runs my whole live rig.
