Live playing is a definate with this guitar, without worries of a backup. The hardware will last for ages. The strap button could be better, but thinking about it only makes it worse. Like if your thrashing about playing something heavy and you suddenly think my god those strap buttons arent the best you'll suddenly stop for fear of the strap popping off, when in reality it prolly wouldn't. The finish is perfect, very Vintage, great all the way
I bought mine in a thrift store for a whopping 24 euro's! A steal for that money... Im in love with it!
I played it so much that it is in need of a re-fret!
Wrote many songs on it and learned to play.
It has a superb sustain, but being my first self made guitar, it's far from perfect.
Amplifiers 2
This is a great amp and you can play any style of music on it, you can get a lot of different sounds with it. It has 2 main channels, Clean and Lead. On the Clean channel there are two presets Vintage and Modern. The Vintage setting is great for country or old time clean sounds and the modern has more bass and is a warmer sound where as the Vintage is thin and trebely. On the lead channel there is 3 preset types of lead, Vintage, Modern and High Gain. Again the Vintage setting is great for your classic rock or even more modern types of distortion its great for Thin Lizzy stuff and the likes, the modern setting is very heavy, only really suitable for heavy rock or metal like Metallica, the high gain setting is much the same just with extra gain and would suit stuff like power anthems. This amp has two inputs, High gain and Low gain. The master section has, Reverb, Presence, Resonance and T. Dynamic controls. The T. Dynamics control is really what defines this amp, it stands for 'Tube Dynamics' and when set to '0%' you have just your ordinary amp sound which isn't great and it doesn't have the rich tones of a tube amp, but when you roll the switch to '100%' it would be hard to tell the difference between this amp and a real tube amp, I have played an american Fender strat through this before and it sounds unreal. Both channels have 3 band eq's.
I use this amp for everything from acoustic guitar to keyboard.
Nice versatile little thing!
Effects Pedals 6
Overall, this pedal is great and no one would regret it. Its cheap enough for the wanna be's and has enough quality for the pros. It sounds good and reacts well. Overall, i would reccomend this to anyone.
I rate this pedal a 9 because everything on this pedal is great. The different modes are distinct and give different sounds and the controls are great.
The DS-2 features twin Turbo modes. Turbo Mode I produces warm and mellow distortion with flat frequency response. Turbo Mode II provides biting distortion with a mid-range boost that's great for leads.
Just a really wooly big sounding monster.
I use it to go the extra mile!
Bright display, precise tuner, easy to see, solid performer, design, and a quality unit. It being so easy to use speeds up the tuning time, the bright display makes it easy to use in the studio as in is dark most of the time.
The Fender Competition Delay is very simple to use as there are only three knobs: repeat, delay, and mix. I love this pedal's simplicity and warm tones but the delay time could be better. It's really basic but it does its job well.
Although it does what it's supposed to, mastering the correct timing is quite the task! I'm still practising,,
