While Tucker Rule toured with The Wanted, he used Q Custom Drum Kit with Mahogany/Poplar shells with a Orange/Red sparkle finish. He also states that the shells have maple reinforcement rings and wood hoops as stated in this video interview at 1:40. At 1:48 into the video interview he gives the sizes of shells with the high tom at 14x10, 26x14 Kick drum, 16x16 1st floor tom, and 16x18 2nd floor tom "...with the bottom head missing".

Tucker Rule describes his drum set and cymbals, starting at 1:03 into this youtube video. He states that it is "...made by C&C, a custom company based out of Kansas City, Kansas". At 1:35 into the video, he points out his Zildjian K cymbals that are "..crash ride, [and] light rides."

The kit sizes were a 14x26" bass drum, a 9x14" rack tom, and a 14x16" floor tom. A third floor tom was sometimes used, which was a giant 16x20".

Shortly after recording Full Collapse, Tucker started using Ayotte Maple drum sets on tour and for recording War All The Time, and A City by the Light Divided. He used Ayotte kits up until they went bankrupt in 2011, where he then went to C&C. He still uses the Ayotte Keplinger snare from time to time.

According to Tucker Rules' profile on Promark.com, he has been endorsed by Promark Drumsticks since 2002, while playing in the band Thursday. He uses Promark 5B American Hickory Drumsticks.

Tucker Rule endorses Zildjian Cymbals, and according to his artist profile, he uses a 24" Zildjian K Light Ride.

Tucker Rule is confirmed to be using the Ludwig Amber Vistalite Drumkit during his 2025 tour with Thursday. This is supported by an article on Drummerworld by Austin Weatherhead, titled "Tucker Rule Joins Ludwig: A Rhythmic Alliance in Motion," which highlights his use of this drumkit. Additionally, an image from his Instagram, dated November 28, 2025, depicts him standing with the drum set.

According to Remo's official page on Tucker Rule, he uses the Remo Ambassador Clear Drumhead as part of his gear.

In an interview with Ari Gold on the Hot Sticks Drum Show, drummer Tucker Rule confirmed that he uses the ROC-N-SOC Nitro Throne. During the conversation, when asked by Ari Gold if he sits on a DW stool, Tucker Rule responded, "No... I'm a Roc-N-Soc Nitro guy. I've been sitting on one of those for probably 15 years.
