Amplifiers 5

This amp has served me well, with plenty of volume to keep up with my loud drummer, tone wise the amp is decent, nothing special but I can get a vague ACDC sort of tone.
This was my dads amp but is now mine. When ever I need to do anything I always go straight to my good old Fender Champ 12. This amp is perfect for any small gig or practice at home, even without an effects loop this amp has served me well. Producing a full warm well bodied sound that is always pleasing to my ears!
I really like this tiny little amp, provides tasty tone at a cheap affordable price, the mid range grunt from this little box is perfect for recording any sort of guitar tracks.
Although this amp isn't really mine, I did use it to play the Rufus Stone gig at the Glenn Club in Watford. This amp took the wah pedal and boost pedal very well providing me with a warm fat guitar tone.

Music Accessories 1

I never leave the house without at least 3 of these little devils. They fit so naturally into my hand that they are have become my go to pick

Strings 3

Currently attempting to move up to these from 10-52
Works perfectly in E standard and in Open E tuning for slide work
Had these strings on my Tanglewood Discovery and they haven't lost any of the zing they've had since I installed them.

Bass Guitars 2

This is a solid bass I bought from a Cash converters for £69, restrung it and the bass came alive with a loud punchy tone all wrapped up into an Rickenbacker-esk package!
I've had this bass for awhile and although its been a bumpy ride I've greatly enjoyed playing it. Although the output jack broke and the bridge pickup no longer works when its strung with flats this bass really does have a tasty tone

Keyboards and Synthesizers 1

Easy to use and extremely realistic sound for this price point. Even as it has aged I haven't played anything that has made me want it more apart from a Roland V.Piano and a Kawai lounge grand piano

Effects Pedals 3

Got this pedal from my dad and as a guy who hates chorus I've found it very useful as it adds character and flavour to my guitar work. With the rate set low and the depth set high I get a very usable tone from it.
The best pedal I own, providing a nice rocky overdrive while still retaining the character and tone of the guitar. This pedal also seems to provide feedback when used at volume. Use it as an overdrive or a boost this pedal works for everything!
I love my vintage cry baby wah, although i dislike how tinny it gets when you use the upper register.

Guitars 4

This is the least liked guitars out of my small collection. Currently I've replaced the pickups with artec hot rails in the neck and middle position, in the bridge is a dimarzio d417 (I think).
I've used this strat on several recordings and played this guitar live countless times. As soon as I picked it up I instantly bonded with the neck, perfect and strat. Right now this guitar is strung with 10-52 but I do feel it would be better with 11-56, but that may just be me. The pickups in this guitar are very hot, pushing the front end of my fender champ into a nice natural overdrive when I crank the clean volume knob. My only complaint with this guitar is that the sustain isn't great and the pickups have become slightly micro-phonic with there age. But if I was asked a simple question "Would you buy this guitar again" I would as it gives me the ability to play almost any genre and it suits my playing style just right.
This guitar just sings with its mellow yet punchy and almost agressive pickups, feels solid and holds tune perfectly. Also allows me to control feedback well when used at volume
My dads vintage 1979 Gibson L6S has finally joined my collection, although the neck joint doesn't look very secure its a beautiful and plays like a dream!

Other Gear 1

This guitar has served me well through the time I have owned it. With a loud bold personality it fits perfectly in a mix and has enough volume to busk with. The only problem with this guitar is the sharp fret ends which stick out of the neck. Even with this fault, I still love this guitar.
