Gear 31

I've had this guitar since 2010. Guitar was in perfect condition. Bought it new. MIM. Action was perfect out of the box. Stays in tune great. Took it for some routine service like 3 years later, and it got better. Recently i changed the pickups for some Seymour Duncan Hot For Jazzmaster 2. Bridge and Neck. It really boosted the guitar's output, it gave it more kick. I believe it got the real tone out of this great guitar. I've never had any problems with it. I also modded the guitar by getting it a tone bypass. I sold it for a year ando got the same one I sold, I regretted that so much. But now it's back. Great guitar and great sound... the only down side i can find is probably the problem it was to find a case that fitted this guitar, but that's like something that has nothing to do with the guitar at all.
Bought this guitar 2 weeks ago. I was amazed that a guitar with just a volume knob and a tone knob could give you so many different tone colors. Turn the volume knob to 3 and it will be a very clean sound, but turn it all the way up tomorrow and you'll be in for a great overdriven sound. Great guitar. The only thing I didn't quite like was the wrap around bridge, it was kind of hard to get the intonation right, but once I got it, this guitar was sounding great.
This guitars delivers greatly some truly bright and round sounds. I love the built in tuner. It has a shadow Nano Mag. It has a phase switch to prevent unwanted feedback. it has 2 inputs. one for the nano mag an the other one for the other pickup, I can't remember it's name. Haven't had any problems with this guitar at all. I'm in love with it's sound and so is everyone who has used my guitar.
I have the original one with fender alnico blue. I don't quite love the sound, but when combined with my Vox AC 30, I get some nice sounds. I love the speakers, though. I sometimes use them as an extension cab for my AC30. They sound great.
A very complete and open ended delay. 3 presets. Tap tempo. I love the loop feature. I own two of this. I use them sometimes for looping and the other one for delay. or at times, I use both for loops. I love its play once, reverse and half speed function. You won't find that in a delay, except for the Strymon Timeline, but just to have the features this pedal offers talking about loops, you'll spend like twice the price of a DL4. The downside is that at times, I used to have troubles correctly powering it. (it uses supposedly 2000ma). Also, I haven't experienced it, but I've heard that sometimes the switches fail. They can be changed, but I guess it's normal. According to its use. To me, it's better than the Flashback and the DD20. Haven't tried the Eventide or Timeline.
I love the easy way this thing works, you can dial great tones in a second. I don't really use the Shimmer feature that everyone likes, but it sounds great. Lots of combinations and versatility.
I love this pedal, gives a great boost and sometimes adds a bit of saturation. I like that in boosts, I use it more to really saturate my AC30. The only thing I have never understood is how the pickup selection works. I don't really care for that, but I give it 4 stars only because of that. Love the big chicken head knob.
If you want a delay out of the ordinary, this is the right pedal for you. The thing I like the most is the slide control of the ms of delay. It can give very awkward sounding delays or some really warm delays. I don't use de Sound On Sound feature that much, I don't like it. I would have loved a tap tempo instead. That's the only down side I see on this pedal. Maybe the size. It's really big. If you have a small pedalboard, prepare for losing A LOT of space on this guy. Great pedal anyway, lots of possibilities.
My oldest pedal. I really love that this is really straight forward. Only one knob to dial your phase rate. From a slow sweep at it's lowest setting, to a middle setting sound Incubus-like and a full turn that sounds kind of a Leslie speaker. This is one of the most simpler yet most complete pedals I've ever tried. A must if you are looking to dial some Einziger tones. :)
This is a one of the greatest tuners I've tried. Accurate. I really don't use the other functions such as capo and drop tunings. The thing I love is that you can change it from bass to guitar with one button. I also like that the leds adapt according to the light in the room or the place you're playing. Great tuner, I also use it to intonate guitar, really accurate.
