Urgehal is a Norwegian black metal band hailing from Hønefoss, formed in 1992 by Trondr Nefas (lead guitar, vocals) and Enzifer (rhythm guitar). Known for their traditional black metal aesthetics and raw sound, the band also includes members such as Uruz (drums) and Tomas "Sregroth" Torgersbråten (bass). Urgehal is celebrated for their adherence to classic black metal themes, with their music embodying the dark, harsh, and misanthropic elements synonymous with the genre.
