I thought american specials have a decent neck, theyre 9.5 radius with jumbo frets

i personally would go with the American Special, its my next purchase after new amp. i like the pick ups are very bright and the 70's style logo is a nice touch. i also like that its a classic tele set up without the 4 way switching. I'm not sure how i feel with the switching on the Baja's yet I've only played one briefly, it was good but didn't win me over immediately the way the American Special, but play both to find your best match

I don't own one but I've used one live a lot, I mean it's not gonna take a beating like an ac30 can but as long as you keep it safe and dry it should last for a while but I'd recommend swapping tubes after a while

And also try to get tubes

I'd recommend a 30+ watt combo amp, I'd say 40 watts is best bet, something like a hot rod deluxe would work great, safest way is to go to a shop tell them what features you want budget and size, and don't rely on others opinions, you'll know when you fall in love with an amp
