Fits under pedal train

No complaints on this product. I found out that there's a company that makes rechargeable pedal boards and power supplies after I bought this power supply. I haven't had a problem plugging into an outlet at a gig, but a rechargeable pedal board would be nifty.

Sounds like bass

I'd like to rate these strings 4.5 because I'd like to think that there's a better set of strings out there, but there likely isn't. I like the high tension in these strings. I'd like to try out these string with a roto sound G string.

good so far

i haven't played it on the streets (live) or jam with a guitar played on a battery powered amp yet, but jamming on this amp has been good so far. the eq dimed don't sound too good and their is sometimes a static sound while playing or muted, but maybe that's my kinda broken cable. if not, the amp is a keeper to me. i'll update later with more info.

better than swing 66

the tension on the e string is what i'm looking for. the g string is super thin, but i actually like it. i've never played the intro to trooper so cleanly.

first, and probably only complaint, is that the velcro that i use does not stick to the rubber underside of the crybaby bass mini. all my pedals use this velcro and the velcro sticks too well.

not for everyone

the good: great case, the pedalboard is made with strong material.

the bad: the gaps are not placed properly, and their is no room underneath the pedal board for cables.

also: i have the mxr dc brick and i doesn't fit underneath (unless you mod the pedaltrain). the top section (the top sheet of metal) is basically unless to me.

overall: this pedalboard is not for the general effect aficionado

i wish that can turn the screen to face you. other than that, the tuner works. it's slim, with a big screen, and has clips nice and tight to the headstock. it also comes with batteries. update: the black rubber on the clip has ripped in half, i need to buy some tape to fix it. before it ripped, the rubber pad would easily slip off when removing the tuner from instrument's headstock. the exposed metal clip could leave scratches to the back of the headstock. luckily i notice when the tuner was without the rubber tip, and that that i've never lost the rubber tip.

(Bass Review) you may want to check out the mxr bass chorus deluxe

i'd compare this to my mxr bass chorus deluxe and their both very simular.

get the tc electronic stereo chorus if you want a subtle chorus and pitch modulation. great natural tone, but more subtle than the mxr bass chorus.

the mxr bcd is just deluxe. you can set how dry or wet the signal is.

the size of the tc is slightly bigger. it's not a big difference. the tc stereo chorus can not be powered by a powet supply. it has a permanently plug built into it.

mxr definitely based the mxr bcd off the tc electronic stereo chorus. i'd suggest the mxr over the tc.

the mxr is smaller, can be powered by a 9v power supply, and it's dryer on the E string. overall a modern take on the tc electronic. also, their is the ebs unichorus studio version.

i don't own this bass, but played it at the store

if you look up the iron maiden music video of number of the beast, this bass sounds exactly like the tone used it that video without compression. i had the do some fiddling around to get a tone suitable for led zepplin, but it's possible. i'd definitely buy this bass even if your not a iron maiden fan. this is a PRO bass.

great sound, i want bigger gauge on the E string

i personally want a higher gauge on the e string. these strings instantly had a colorful sound. the A string at first was overly noisy, but that went away with use. the strings sound so natural to me, i dare say articulate. i have the string on my gretsch g5123b hollowbody bass. the string really give the bass a 50's or 60's sound, and sounds great when playing acousticly. their is some things i like about daddario strings which i'd like to have in a rotosound set. i'm definitely going to look at other rotosound models to see which is best for me. also, if your play extremely downed tune songs, this set most likely not for you.

no assembly require

we haven't used this mic stand live yet, but i seem happy with this product. great price.

i wish this product would grip more of the pick, but it's easy to put picks in and to take them out. grips onto mic stands perfectly, but try not to stretch it out by attaching it to bigger pipes.

mxr's best pedal for metal

this pedal is a 5150 amp simulator. i suggest looking up 5150 amp comparison videos to get an idea of this pedals tone. last time i checked, 5150 amps are expensive. this pedal is a steal, and has a built in noise gate. you may want to check out the wampler pinnacle pedal, if you're looking for other pedals with van halen, metal lead goodness.

Unemploid's signature amp

thanks to the tubes, this amp sounds better then the non-tube spider amps. this amps volume is loud to louder, so not a good practice amp. at shows, people comment how loud the amp is for it's size. we're having a hard time finding a clean channel for our cleaner songs. we're using an evh 5150 overdrive and our bass player is using an ampeg ba115hp. we're having a good time. like us on facebook. - http://www.facebook.com/unemploid

could be louder

cons: i wish this amp was louder. we haven't test it on the streets, but i have a feeling it wont do well in noisy environments. the clean channel is sligghtly dirty. this amp doesn't produce bass notes well, at least my ms-2 doesn't. the tone could be a better.

pros: i bought the used at a pawnshop for $6. the overdrive mode will give you sharp/cutting carlos santana like leads. i'm happy with the purchase. it's small, light and you can clip it onto you guitar strap. go for like play at school. if you're looking for a street performance portable amp, i'd say look for better. we haven't played a street performance yet, but we have played it outdoors. it's not that loud while playing outdoors in a quite environment.

this pedal is smaller than i expected.

my only issue is the pedal is heavy. it does give an ampeg sound. my bands is recording an ep and our studio engineer wants my ampeg scr-di. when using headphone, you can really hear your effects, and tweak how ever you like.

it's definitely deluxe, but i still need more time

my feelings towards the chorus tone are on and off. i'm digging the flanger mode. i found a few settings. the flanger tone could be better, nut a prefer it to the mxr evh flanger. with fuzz, the flanger sounds too robotic. i don't like it, but you may want to check it out if you're into techno. the x-over button almost unnecessary. it's definitely not practicle.

it works

it mute when it's on and does everything it suppose to do. strobe tuner is cool. i haven't gotten the multi tune to work on bass, but it works with a guitar.

tryed it at the store (and now i own it) [it comes with batteries]

i tryed it out at sam ash. this thing even comes with a battery, earbuds not included. it works, i tryed it on a few basses. i managed to get two drum samples going without reading the manual, apparently theirs four available. i'm definitely buying this someday and when i do i'll update this review.

sound quality is good, and should work with any headphones or ear phones. i don't know how long is the battery life.

*i own one now, and i like it. not much to say. the low end could be better. maybe it's my earbuds, but i did connect the amplug to a phillips portable speaker and the low ends the same. i wish you could edit the eq, i havn't try playing the amplug through an eq pedal. i look forward to buying more vox accessories. fun to jam and practice.

over priced, but i'm pleased

this strap works perfectly on gretsch guitars and bass. it can work with other guitars/basses, but with some difficulties. the cushion could be stuffed more.

if you have a gretsch guitar, this strap is not highly necessary. btw, this strap has not seen any wear since purchase.
