Hook is a Dutch boutique amplifier manufacturer based in IJsselstein, The Netherlands, founded by guitarist Leendert Haaksma. Haaksma, a Rotterdam Conservatory graduate known for his work as guitarist for Dutch rock artist Anouk, designed the Hook amp line to reflect his own tonal ideals as a working player. The amplifiers are handbuilt by Erik van der Haar, using military-grade components including Mallory and Sozo capacitors.

The Hook lineup centers on all-tube designs spanning a range of formats and power levels. The Captain 34 is a 100-watt, three-channel EL34-powered head with a Plexi-inspired power section, redesigned for responsive dynamics at lower volumes. The Wizard II is a 45-watt two-channel head with programmable presets via motorized potentiometers, 32 memory locations with MIDI recall, and built-in IR speaker simulation for direct recording — all while keeping the signal path fully analog. The Little Lenny II offers a more compact format with similar speaker simulation and direct-out capabilities. Hook also produces matching 1x12 speaker cabinets loaded with WGS and Warehouse speakers.

Hook amps have gained recognition through players such as YouTube guitarist Paul Davids, who plays a Wizard, and Dutch jazz-rock guitarist Richard Hallebeek, who uses the Wizard as his primary live amp. The Captain 34 has been modeled by Fractal Audio as the "Capt Hook" in their digital amp modeling platforms, further extending the brand's reach beyond its boutique origins.
