Overstayer Recording Equipment is a small analog audio manufacturer based in Los Angeles, California. The company was founded by musician, engineer, and producer Jeff Turzo, who began designing custom recording electronics for his personal studio in 2008 before incorporating Overstayer in 2009 after demand from other Los Angeles producers. Before launching the company, Turzo spent a decade producing and touring with the band God Lives Under Water, signed by Rick Rubin to American Recordings.

Overstayer designs and hand-builds boutique analog outboard gear focused on dynamics, saturation, and channel-strip processing, with an emphasis on tonal flexibility and parallel/blend workflows. The catalog includes the Stereo VCA Compressor (Model 3722), the Stereo FET Compressor, the Stereo Voltage Control (SVC), the Modular Channel, the 8776A Imperial Channel, and the NT-02A Saturator. The brand is well known for its Modular Channel, a configurable channel strip that has been widely demonstrated by mix engineers and producers.

Overstayer's circuits have also been licensed to Softube, which produces officially endorsed plugin emulations such as the M-A-S saturator, extending the brand's reach beyond its limited-run hardware production.

Overstayer has 12 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Effects Processors, Preamps, and Channel Strips. Their gear is featured by 14 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Electronic, and Pop. Notable users include David Peters, Richie Kotzen, and Patrick Carney.
