Moniker Guitars was an Austin, Texas–based electric guitar builder founded in 2012 by Kevin Tully and Dave Barry. The company built its identity around an online configurator that let customers design their own instrument — picking from a handful of body styles, stains, paint colors, and component options including Seymour Duncan pickups — before the guitar was built to order in the Austin shop.

Manufacturing relied on CNC milling of domestically sourced woods, combined with water-based finishes and vinyl plotting for custom graphics and text. The approach allowed one-off custom guitars to be priced closer to off-the-shelf instruments, with typical delivery in around four weeks. Moniker also ran themed production runs, including a Barbecue Series inspired by Austin BBQ joints, and collaborated with local artists on charity designs.

The company operated until 2018, during which time it drew users such as Kyle Shutt of The Sword, Matt Noveskey of Blue October, Paul Marc Rousseau and Shane Told of Silverstein, Andy Lane of Driver Friendly, and members of Anarbor.
