M.V. Pedulla Guitars is an American bass builder founded by luthier Michael V. Pedulla in 1975 in Rockland, Massachusetts, near Boston. The company handcrafted electric bass guitars in the United States for roughly four decades, producing on the order of 10,000 instruments before Michael Pedulla stepped away from active production in 2019. Bartolini, a longtime collaborator, continues to supply the custom-voiced pickups and electronics used in the basses for restoration and replacement.

Pedulla became closely associated with the fretless bass sound of the 1980s fusion era through the Buzz, a fretless model developed with input from bassists Mark Egan and Tim Landers and known for its hard epoxy-coated fingerboard and singing sustain. The fretted MVP served as its counterpart and helped establish the company's reputation. Later designs include the neck-through Thunderbass, bolt-on Thunderbolt, the Rapture with a more traditional body shape, and the Nuance, a modern bolt-on instrument. Models were offered in 4-, 5-, 6-, and 8-string configurations.

Pedulla's design philosophy emphasized consistency and tonal refinement over extensive custom options, with variation typically limited to finish colors and hardware choices rather than structural changes. The brand is regarded within the bass community as a boutique American builder focused on playability, neck feel, and the voice of its Bartolini-equipped electronics, and its instruments remain sought after on the used market.
