Tune Guitar Technology is a builder of electric basses and guitars with roots in Osaka, Japan, where the brand was founded in 1983. The company became known during the late 1980s for through-neck, exotic-wood basses aimed at modern players, issued under the Bass Maniac line (models such as the TBC-5S five-string and various TWB-series basses) and its Guitar Maniac counterpart. After the Japanese original restructured as Tune Guitar Maniac around the turn of the century, the Tune Guitar Technology name continued under Korean manufacturer Woosung Chorus Co., Ltd. (WSC), based in Incheon.
