Railhammer is a guitar pickup company founded by Joe Naylor, the designer and luthier also known for creating Reverend Guitars. Based in Michigan, Railhammer launched in January 2012 with a patented pickup architecture that places thin rails under the wound strings — sensing a narrower section of string for tighter, clearer lows — and oversized pole pieces under the plain strings for fatter, more sustaining highs. The result is a passive pickup designed to eliminate the muddiness common in high-gain humbucker tones while preserving warmth and body on the treble side.

The lineup is split into two families: Humbuckers and Humcutters. The Humbucker range includes the low-output Hyper Vintage (a PAF-inspired design), the mid-output Chisel, and the high-output Anvil. The Humcutter line delivers P90-style voice in a standard humbucker-sized housing with hum-cancelling performance, and includes models like the Gnarly 90 and the Tel 90 (a Telecaster/P90 hybrid). Railhammer also produces several artist signature pickups, including models for Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins, Reeves Gabrels of The Cure, Bob Balch of Fu Manchu, and Vernon Reid of Living Colour.

Railhammer pickups ship as standard equipment in many Reverend Guitars models. Their roster of endorsing artists spans genres from alternative rock and stoner metal to punk and hardcore, reflecting the pickups' versatility across both clean and heavily driven tones.

Railhammer has 13 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Electric Guitar Pickups. Their gear is featured by 11 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock and Metal. Notable users include Billy Corgan, Jack Owen, and Reba Meyers.
