Railhammer is a guitar pickup company founded by Joe Naylor, the designer and luthier also known for creating Reverend Guitars. Based in Michigan, Railhammer launched in January 2012 with a patented pickup architecture that places thin rails under the wound strings — sensing a narrower section of string for tighter, clearer lows — and oversized pole pieces under the plain strings for fatter, more sustaining highs. The result is a passive pickup designed to eliminate the muddiness common in high-gain humbucker tones while preserving warmth and body on the treble side.

The lineup is split into two families: Humbuckers and Humcutters. The Humbucker range includes the low-output Hyper Vintage (a PAF-inspired design), the mid-output Chisel, and the high-output Anvil. The Humcutter line delivers P90-style voice in a standard humbucker-sized housing with hum-cancelling performance, and includes models like the Gnarly 90 and the Tel 90 (a Telecaster/P90 hybrid).
