Fralin Pickups is a boutique pickup manufacturer based in Richmond, Virginia, founded by Lindy Fralin in 1989. Lindy got his start collecting broken pickups from local music stores and teaching himself to repair them, eventually building his own winding machine from a sewing motor, a foot pedal, and a variac housed in a coffee can. The first design to come out of that spare-bedroom shop was the Vintage Hot Strat pickup, which remains one of the company's best-selling single coils.

The shop hand-winds pickups to order and is known for vintage-voiced designs across a wide range of instruments. Core product lines include the Vintage Hot and Real '54 Stratocaster sets, the Blues Special (offered in both Strat and Telecaster configurations), traditional soapbar and dogear P-90s, and the P-90 in a Humbucker Cover, which packages P-90 tone in a standard humbucker-sized housing. The catalog also covers Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, P-Bass, and Jazz Bass pickups, along with prewired pickguards and wiring harnesses.

Fralin has built a reputation in the boutique pickup world for vintage-leaning tone and hand-built consistency, with users ranging from Jeff Beck and Robben Ford to slide player Sonny Landreth.

Fralin Pickups has 13 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Electric Guitar Pickups, Bass Guitar Pickups, and Solid Body Electric Guitars. Their gear is featured by 9 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Pop, and Folk, World, & Country. Notable users include Sonny Landreth, Vivian Campbell, and Wayne Sermon.
