Description

Designed in collaboration with Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins fame, the Railhammer Billy Corgan Humcutter Pickups promise to elevate your guitar's voice like never before. Part of Railhammer's innovative Humcutter line, these pickups merge the classic output of a P90 with a modern twist, offering a unique hybrid sound. The result is a vibrant mid-range bump that delivers a subtle "cocked-wah" effect, ensuring your sound punches through the mix effortlessly, whether you're playing clean or with a bit of grit.

What sets these pickups apart is Railhammer's signature design: rails under the bass strings and individual pole pieces under the treble strings. This configuration allows for a rich, fat low-end that stays clear and articulate, while the treble remains crisp and free of any harshness. Perfect for guitarists who dance along the line between clean and distorted tones, the Billy Corgan Humcutter Pickups deliver the perfect balance of punch and clarity, becoming the go-to choice for many top musicians.

Key Features:

  • Hybrid design inspired by the classic P90 with enhanced mid-range
  • Unique "cocked-wah" tone for added punch and articulation
  • Rail and pole piece configuration for optimized bass and treble response
  • Ideal for both clean and overdriven tones
  • Developed in collaboration with Billy Corgan for his signature sound

Fantastic!

These are some of my favourite pickups ever! They have power similar to a humbucker yet articulation similar to a single coil. They’re a really unique tone that I adore in my jazzmaster. They also look beautiful, which is a nice addition.
