This mixer is the hub of my studio, it has 16 mono channels with line/mic inputs, inserts per channel and direct outs that can easily be switched to pre or post fader. The eq's are musical, the preamps sound nice (they're not API but are certainly useable). 6 Aux sends are great for effects routing or for creating monitor mixes in a live environment. Pro features in a relatively small package, Mine is rack mounted and is patched one to one on the direct outs to 16 inputs on my audio interface, works like a charm.
Initially billed as a juno 106 clone (it gets close) the DM12 is far more synth than a Juno. 12 voices that can be stacked and octaved in interesting ways, a deep mod matrix, mod envelope and great sounding FX make this synth some of the best bang for your buck currently on the market. If Behringer can keep up this level of product at the reasonable price point it can be purchased at I think a lot of us will be taking a harder look at the brand. This synth does not feel like a compromise. The only thing i find lacking is a sine osc, but as intended to be a 106, it makes sense that it's not there.
Great sounding interface w solid drivers, next step up in fidelity would be to go RME, Apogee or Lynx. I've had mine for 5 years now. The LCD screen went out on 1 unit and MOTU was great enough to replace it with a B Stock unit free of charge as it was out of warranty. I've expanded the # of inputs via ADAT and can if needed track 24 channels at once.
I added this to my setup a few months ago when I switched from a Macbook Pro to a 5,1 MacPro Tower. The ability to offset CPU use with the UAD's DSP has been a game changer for both tracking through its excellent EQ's and Compressors and for mixing within Ableton. I kept my MOTU 828mk3 to use as an addition set of 8 ch of IO over ADAT so my rig has remained 16ch of Analog IO.
Fantastic and now classic (?) delay modeler. If you neen clean crisp delays, its got you covered, modulated tails, that too. Its not the best thing out there but it covers SO much territory that its remained a part of my setup. Great on aux sends for dub sessions due to its hands on nature.
