Versatility is key for me.

The S8 is not traditional to say the least but that's why I like it. I am more of an MPCer or finger drummer and that is how I dJ. This hardware allows that freedom.

Decent Speakers...

The only issue I have with them is that you really have to watch the feed, they redline really easily.

Very cool distortion plugin.

The presets are a bit god awful but once you make your own it is very satisfactory.

It's very standard but has a special feature.

This VST you can load .sfz files from actual hardware synth databases like Roland, Korg, etc.

Works great, but...

After I had is for a bit, the connections and the buttons are a bit finicky, especially the gain button.

They are really load but need some fine tuning.

They are kinda heavy on the low end of things but they seriously kick.

Bang for their buck

These guys are honestly great for their price and the sound so much better then the Sennheiser DJs.

digibilly

Not the best but does the job.

If you are a Stem or Remix Deck user, you might have to make a few mods to the midi-mapping for more intuitive use.

I wouldn't use anything else.

I've used a lot of DAWs over the years. Ableton just does what I need it to do. It includes most of the tools I need, right out of the box.

Version: Ableton Live 9

Mixing is cake.

I find this hardware makes it incredibly easy to sit down a track. Very plug-and-play with Ableton.

Works with everything with a little work.

I of course use this when producing in Ableton but I also use it with the Tractor Remix Deck and to fire VJ loops.

On the music sketching and performances.

I have integrated the Circuit into my live performances with the NI Traktor S4 to do live instrumentation and on the fly beats to add to the songs I'm mixing. I love that you can easily update the sound library and create your own synth patches to fit your style.

My go-to for bass!

I love the interface and how it's a pseudo modular setup. The automation of LFOs is frequently used.
