Gear 30

It's got lots of knobs and buttons, so I'm into it.
This is the one and only bass distortion I've been using since 2006! It never lets me down.
This is the first guitar I ever bought for myself, and will be my main one for the rest of my life. It inspired me to play better and there is nothing it can't do. I dropped it once, knocking off the tone knob. When it got repaired, the guy working on it couldn't figure out how to wire it and ended up accidentally customizing it into having the capability to coil-tap the neck and bridge pickup separately, opening up a new range of tones.
This weirdo from 1986 is my favorite pedal of all time. It is a flanger, chorus, "doubler," and delay all in one. It's no ordinary delay though; the repeats pitch-shift in terrible, wonderful ways. I hardly ever use the doubler, but the flange and chorus tones are the best I've ever worked with. I wish I had four of them so I could use each setting simultaneously.
This little amp is great for when the car is stuffed or my arms are weak. The EQ is unorthodox but workable, and all the different amp styles sound great. I only use it for clean tones since I use pedals for distortion, but this amp could definitely benefit from a footswitch because its high-gain ones are pretty killer. It's like the car you drive to work and back, vs. the one you take out on special occasions. All in all, it gets 4 stars on account of how lightweight it is yet how heavy it sounds, and how much space it saves in the car.
