The pros win over the cons
Pros: Highly responsive EQ| dynamic use of the oscillation to calibrate the pedal between a rotary and a flangy chorus| Warm analog sound. Cons: Need 18v| Lack of Dry/Wet knob| Maybe too big for some pedalboards For me it's between to category of chorus 1) the little packege user friendly pedal 2) big, sofisticated and expensive pedal Can I get the same tone with the micro version? NOPE. Can I get the same tone with a Boss CE3? Yes Can I find something better for the price? Yes, but not analog
Responsive and warm, one of the best delay out there
Turning up or down the knobs each mm you can ear something is happening. This is not something you can find in other pedals for the same price, it's super responsive, dynamic, dark and glitchy sometimes. It doesn't sound like a tape echo but it has its own distintive sound, that in my opinion is something you can't say for tons of pedal. Before the Gain section it creates echos and atmosphere. highly suggested for super short delay times to add "body" to your chords.
Perfect for chords
If you are a rhythm guitar player who plays a lot a chords and picks heavly this pick is the best for you. It doesn't adds a lot of attack but all the strings resonate heavly with powerful downstrok pickings.
The sword every gentleman need
Add reverb and delays with this axe and you'll find infinite sonic features.

This is my main clean sound, all in one box. I was searching for a pitch modulating sound with modulations and in this box you have it all. You can control the pitch, how the strings resonate, how they are balanced and how much modulation do you need. It's a really COMPLEX pedal with tones of options and you need to be really careful before you buy it because it's not for everyone and you can be easy bored after you tried once. For me it's gold cause I was searching for that sound using a pitch shifter and a chorus withouth really having it. This box is ages forward us, 9 presets, 3 modulations that interacts each others, two spots for expression pedals to control pitch and freeze chords.
Gold for some ears
Tired of fatty fuzzy sounds? You look for something similar to the boss ones? This is your choice. For 50 bucks you can achieve a nice pedal with some cool option. The "Damage" control adds a sort of 8-bit-octavish sound, really nasty. The pedal has a nice tone knob that adds low ends and mids until 12 o'clock, after that sounds really awful. If you are searching for a robotic-digital-glassed sound into a fuzz pedal, this is your choice.
Boss is the best for Chorus pedals
From Ch1 to CE5 there's no a bad chorus pedals in the history of boss. The CE5 is a summary of decades of experience of boss, the EQ section is very responsive that allows you to change from a crystal shiny chorus to a warm and liquid tone. In my opinion it has nothing super bad and nothing super good but it works for every sound you have in mind.
The king of flanger for the price.
Two knobs, infinite options. Frankly, flanger is flanger, do you need 16 knobs? Hell no. This box is a solid piece of gear that everyone should try at least once in life. Full analog, really responsive and dynamic. MXR is the best for the bucks.

THE PHASER. Awesome around 8-9 o'clock
If you are searching for the most user friendly, solid, intuitive and massive phaser you are searching for the phase 90 (or similar models from MXR). Before or after the OD does its job perfectly.
Better than any epiphone of the last 15 years.
For around 400-500 bucks it's a serious option for every les paul fan. If you don't play watching the headstock of your guitar but just with your ears you'll find a sonic titan on your hand. The sound is really dark and warm, maybe too much for someone (I suggest to change bridge PU with a JB or similars). The real pro of this guitar is the soft "d" neck, super confortable for every hands. This guitars around the mid 80's, late 70's were produced by Matsumoku in Japan, a huge factory who produced some of the best Japanese handmade guitar. Nice head if you are searching for a big variety of tones
It emulates mesa-ish and orange-ish sounds withouth being very into that. We are talking about emulation of circuits, EQ etc for 1/3 or 1/4 of the price of the real ones. Solid head, really user friendly. Two Channels, the clean one is SUPER pedals friendly.
