I miss this bass

I was in the market for a number one bass to use for everything and stumbled across this, it's built extremely well and the looks are to die for. However, the bound body and weak pickups should not be on a bass this beautiful. As such I opted for something else. This bass plays great though. Just some comfort things mostly.

Best picks for all instruments, forget the elitists

I play my bass with these picks, they feel nice on the hands and flow through the strings better than the heavier ones. My perfect medium between flimy 0.60s and sturdy .88s

these are bad after trying DR

I used to use these when I started out, the sound is alright. They destroy your frets and your fingers like no other rounds and also die very quickly. I replaced these with DR sunbeams on my yamaha about a year ago and they still have signs of life in them.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Even though I don't have mine anymore. This delay is killer.

Very much a swiss army knife. Lots of fun weird settings. Unfortunately just a bit too much cash for me to spend on a pedal I barely used. If you've got the money and you use delay a lot though. Get it ASAP

Absolute trash for bass.

I don't know why they market this for bass. It sounds like total garbage. It's way too clanky even for metal and drastically changes your bass tone in a very unpleasing way.

Fantastic bit of kit.

Pretty standard sounding chorus. The amount of controls is just right though. Can be subtle or warbly.

Fantastic Strings for my wimpy hands.

These are really good! Easy to bend, durable, they look really good with the red ends, what's not to love?
