In this photo, Steve Gallagher can be seen using a vintage Rogers Tower 3-piece kit. The reason this is a vintage kit can be seen with the kick drum's drumhead, as that version of the Rogers wordmark is only found on older kits.

“ I had the Wunder FET 47 [CM7] on my bass amp, which is a 1964 Ampeg B15, going into the BAE and then the Purple Audio 1176 clone. Sometimes I will also record DI, but for the opposite reason most people will use it: I usually run the amp to be clean and use the Sansamp VT–Bass pedal, which is like $160, on the DI.” - Jake Sinclair on how he recorded Death of a Bachelor with Urie.

Thom Yorke uses Telefunken U47 Thom Yorke uses Telefunken U47

According to an article by Robyn Flans on Mixonline, Thom Yorke's vocals for Radiohead's track "Creep" were recorded using a Telefunken U47 microphone. The article specifically states, "There were really only three overdubs on 'Creep'—Yorke’s vocals with a Telefunken U47, a piano part played by Jonny Greenwood, and an additional track of the big guitar noise that prefaces the lead guitar parts going into the choruses."
