Doug Johnson, the keyboardist, has confirmed his use of the Fairlight CMI in an interview with Cherry Audio. He stated, "Believe it or not, I paid 35K for a Fairlight computer/synth/sampler, with the light pen and the whole nine yards. That would have been around 1983 or so. I used it a little; it could sample 8-bit for 1.5 seconds and store it on a humongous floppy disk. I leased it to a studio here in Vancouver, and then I sold it to a Belgian composer in 1989."

Samus Paulicelli uses a Pearl Masters Maple Gum Drum Kit, which includes 8, 10, 12, 13, and 16-inch toms, a matching 13x6.5 inch snare, two 22x18 inch kick drums, and four rocket toms of varying lengths. The kit is finished in "Satin Charred Oak" with Black Nickel hardware and is referred to by Paulicelli as the "Monster Kit." This information is confirmed by the artist in the YouTube video titled "Building the new monster drum kit!" by 66Samus.

Christopher Amott confirms his use of the Kemper Profiler Power Rack, stating in an interview with darkstars.de Webzine that "the Kempers sound fantastic and are incredibly practical for touring." He notes the visual perception of sound on stage, indicating, "people listen with their eyes, as long as there’s a few 4×12 cabs on stage people perceive it as this big sound, and not coming from a digital effects processor the size of a toaster." He also mentions, "on stage I always have a speaker cab connected, i.e., not just a line in to the FOH. This is to be able to face the cab to get some real feedback."
