as a boost, it slams tube amps in the nicest ways. with the gain past noon, it's a nice overdrive sound that stacks well with anything before or after it

with no more than aux switch, it's actually quite easy to operate. all its algorithms are on point – classic and ambient sounds alike

Thumpy and in-your-face, while keeping a distinct high-end sizzle. It puts your guitar in a better place in the mix almost all the time.

i mostly tune polyphonic while playing because im lazy, but the high-accuracy strobe mode is extremely useful when intonating and changing strings

some might say the mk 1 sounds better, but this one's just fine too. plus the added fat and swell modes make it almost like a budget option for pog 2 as well

mine came with a karmaflux inductor which puts it, tonally, somewhere between a red fasel inductor (gcb95) and a halo inductor (vintage vox). i'm leaning more towards the transparent vox wah sound, but i have a feeling this one sits better in a mix without sounding too round. the pot's sweep is too drastic though – something that might've been better-suited for rhythmic whacka-chakas than expressive vocal leads
