A must go to start in pedal world
What you can say about this pedal, easy to use, very intuitive, very easy learnig curve, the must go to start adding noise to your signal, work very well as a volume booster, in extreme you can make a very grunge, shoegaze, noise ambient, very useful pedal and with charasteristic everlating quality that boss offers, the only bad thing it have so much treble in it, so be careful with your tone knob.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Drive in the middle and tone very in the left almost middle it's my favorite setting.
Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Nano
Avg price: $125.08
Nice and simple!
One knob and one switch with Just 3 modes: spring (your number one to go) hall (the most extreme one) and flerb (the weird one), enough to start learning about reverb, good price, lose some volume but not big deal, made of solid metal, good quality footswitch, a wonderful buy for pedal newbie.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Spring mode with the knob in the middle do the job, consider to put a previous compresor in your signal chain to do wonders.
Electro-Harmonix Triangle Big Muff Pi Reissue
Avg price: $91.21
This pedal is WILD!
Does what it has to do, wild untamed fuzz and if you use a compressor before the signal chain you can do wonders, amazing quality/price for the deal, the design is very simple but it's easy to get dirty so you have to constant clean it and in MY case the footswtich get broken after one year of use (i'm addicted to fuzz) so my personal subjetive experience was very complicated, but this pedal gives you what it promises, it can be a 4 of 5 start after you set up right with your type of amp.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
To get the 100% of tone use a compressor, it's worthy.
Avg price: $100.86
Nice and simple!
It works, two modes, saw and square, good depth and very nice rate, in my version (black label) you can adjust the volume with the secret knob inside the pedal that's is very useful, so you have a tremolo and a good volume booster, the only one bad thing is not a stereo tremolo, but you can do wonders with him so use it wisely.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I am an enthusiast of the saw wave mode, useful in slow and quick rate.
Avg price: $113.35
A classic
What can i say about this pedal? useful, very intuitive, easy to set up, quick learning curve, lifelong quality, my first delay, 5 years and still work like day one.
