She's heavy, but I like it. Many possibilities thanks to the swiches, it's possible to combine whatever pick-up as single or humbucking. Quite mellow on the neck positions, quite acid on bridge position, humbucking. Comfortable keyboard

I think it should be from '68 or '69, I've got the one with Hohner-like headstock, I'm in love with this guitar. First of all, I feel comfortable. Right measure, right weight for me. The mechanics are rude, maybe rusted, but they are strong. The keyboard is ok, I've re-fretted the first five frets. Octaves pitched correctly. Then, the sound. Wonderful. Three positions switch, beautiful sound for arpeggios on the neck pick-up... and the bridge one! <3 Acid and elegant, what can I say. This guitar HAS A VOICE, talks to me, makes me eloquent.

I think it's a clone, maybe manifacturated in Japan or somewhere in the East. But it sounds good, in tune, warm basses

You take a crap bass, and the stompbox make it sound decent. Presets are good, useful. There should have been some more leds for the tuner, to understand the correct pitch of the tuner.

Just like you can read all over the web, if you set the pitch correction too high the voice become robotic, "do you believe in life after love". Otherwise, the Mechanic is very smooth: good EQ, light compression. Reverb and echo are good too. Perhaps the pots are too much sensitive: sometimes (on echo effect) you'd like less echo, but the pot is already quite fully anti-clockwise.

I'm new to wahwah pedals, I have lo learn some tricks. Anyway, the effect is wonderful, good sounding, lots of possibilities with the knobs. I like the fuzz sound very much, it's warm and full, i like to find the right position for the cocked wah and then jamming half an hour following some backtrack on YouTube.

The output on my sixties Ibanez pickups is quite weak, but the sound is very beautiful. I just wanted to give some more power (and some girt, if tweaked) to the signal, and this little booster sounds great, giving plenty of drive. I use it on 9 o'clock, but the overall sound gets wonderful when fully clockwise (I guess I'll put some other overdrive pedal on retirement, coz presence and bite is what I really want first, on a clean channel)

On high tone settings, high distorsion level, can be like a blade, or like a mosquito if you prefer. But I like its dark attitude, when I put tone all the way anticlockwise, and keep dist very very low: it seems just like it is singing to me, becomes mellow, pleasant to my ear, melodic. I love that tone. Should be quite rare, it's the first version of this Soundbank from Ibanez.

Just keep the sustain knob on low settings, no more than 9 or 10 o'clock position, otherwise it becomes a little noisey. But it's good, I like it.

Maybe the worst among all other tom'sline effects I own. Sounds plastic, boxed, dull. Sometimes I use the spring reverb to get that fatter sound, sometimes I switch to shimmer to play funny arpeggios. Now it's parked in the living room, I use it with acoustic guitar throu' a little bass amp

... and i changed my review. I'm using it more and more, and I've found out some good settings. Tone knob on the dark zone, and Turbo on.

Distortion channel gets trashy pretty soon. Maybe metal-zone, I don't know. The clean channel is quite good, maybe lacks of personality. There's a boost button for mid-frequencies: tweaking with it in combination with the clean channel gain you can get the right amount of crunch and presence, according on how heavy you hit the strings. Good low frequencies, not too much, quite mellow sound. Powerful amp, anyway. Reverb discrete, but useful.

And I'm a proud owner of this first groovebox, since 1997. Acid samples, techno presets (perhaps too much) now outdated. But programming was a breeze, I had hundreds of hours of fun with this big little machine. Cut-off on every single track was a pleasure.

Two oscillators, FM synth, it was fun to design new sounds. Souds are weak, I used to put some pedal effects to get more robust sound

First of all, I like it. It's comfortable to play, standing or sitting on the couch. It sounds good, actually.
