Massenpanik v2.0 Massenpanik is a highly adjustable distortion pedal that takes the cascading op-amp gain section from the venerable Providence Stampede (as used by Converge, Amenra et al) and pairs it with a powerful 5 band graphic EQ for ultimate tone sculpting capabilities.

For V2.0 the boost toggle switch has been changed to a potentiometer for greater control over the amount of pre-gain boost. A presence control has also been added to cut or boost the higher frequencies above the treble control to better accommodate brighter or darker amps.

Controls: level - controls the overall volume gain - controls the overall gain b - cut/boost bass at approx. 67hz and 118hz m - cut/boost low-mids at approx. 375hz m - cut/boost mids at approx. 800hz m - cut/boost high-mids at approx. 1.7khz t - cut/boost treble at approx. 3khz boost - controls the amount of pre-gain boost (V2.0) presence - cut/boost frequencies above treble control (V2.0)

Toggle switches: - 'Diode' - selects between NOS Black Glass Silicon & LED clipping. - 'Tight' - shaves off low end in the distortion section for less flub and more chug.

Power by 9-18VDC centre negative 'BOSS style' power supply only (no battery option). Powering at 18V provides greater headroom and less compression.

CONTROLS:

GAIN – Dual gang pot controls the gain of the op-amps in tandem.

VOLUME – Works as expected, with plenty on tap.

TONE – Think of the tone knob as a blend between a low bandwidth and a high one. At noon, they

are equal. To the left blends more lows and to the right blends more highs.

MIDS – Adds the low mids to the mix. Fully CCW and the tone knob is quite scooped. Fully CW and a good amount of lower mids are added to the mix. Works in tandem with the tone knob.

TOGGLE– Changes clipping options for the second op-amp. North is hard clipped red LED. Middle is soft clipped Zener, and south is hard clipped silicon.

Internal Trim – Adjusts the bias of the JFET. We do not recommend touching this unless you have experience with a digital multi-meter.

WARRANTY: We have worked hard to ensure our pedals will work for a long time but sometimes things happen. For the first year, your pedal is fully covered for parts and workmanship. Workmanship (ie soldering and assembly) has a 5 year warranty for normal wear and tear, but customers covers shipping. We will try and repair accidental damage to the best of our ability for a small bench fee.

RETURNS: Our pedals are hand built in small batches. We will not accept returns because it is “not your thing”. However, we do understand the eternal quest for tone and encourage selling and trading of our products.

VISCERAL An original circuit, born out of a search for a synth sound that kept coming up empty after endless pedal purchases. The VISCERAL is a sawtooth wave fuzz. This sound was inspired by snarling synthesizers on songs like Krack by Soulwax and Phantom, Pt. II by Justice. Instead focusing on the spacey sounds offered by most synth pedals, the VISCERAL is no nonsense, extremely aggressive synth fuzz meant to be wielded like a weapon. The lower the frequencies you push through it, the more overwhelming it sounds- ideal for baritone and bass guitar- but also a ripper on standard tuning electrics. CONTROLS: PULSE controls the width of the sawtooth waveform and adjusts the texture and character of the fuzz. From spitting fizzy bright fuzz to deep rumbling growl. MIX allows you to blend your clean signal in alongside the fuzz, perfect for bass players. VOLUME This allows you to find the right level for the fuzz alongside the rest of your pedals. There is an internal BIAS trimpot that allows you to dial in how tight the fuzz gets gated. POWER 9vDC center negative.

"The BOOst" - Germanium Boost The BOOst is my take on the classic germanium treble booster, but with some "bootique" improvements for reduced noise, added tonal choices, and puns. Modernizing a Classic The Rangemaster circuit was beloved by many of top guitarists in the time of its release (Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Brian May,..) and is still highly sought-after today. However, it had it's limitations and some of the circuitry (while great) could be improved. One of the major complaints about using vintage effects with germanium transistors was that they couldn't be used with normal, modern center negative power supplies. the BOOst features an onboard charge pump circuit to take the 9V power from your power supply, convert it, and give the pedal what it needs

Another comment about the original treble booster was, while it worked miracles with the darker British amps (such as the Vox AC30 and Marshall Bluesbreaker) , the frequency was just too high for brighter amps like American fenders. To give the BOOst more flexibility, a 3 position toggle allows you to choose between 3 modes;

Treble: Great for adding top end to darker, while cutting bass. Excels at tightening high gain amp tones Mid: A classic mid focused boost. The perfect volume and frequency boost to cut through a live mix, or just enhance an anemic tone Full-Range: Why just boost one frequency when you can boost them all? The BOOst uses a vintage Germanium transistor in conjunction with modern components (Metal film resistors, Polyester film capacitors, Aluminum electrolytic capacitors) to provide the the classic sounds of a treble booster, but with a much lower noise floor and expanded tonal choices via 3-position voice toggle. The pedal also sports custom art (puns free of charge), and a spooky Ghost circuitboard.

Non-Human Audio – Mocking Blur, Delay What is the pedal equivalent of a game of telephone?

The Mocking Blur is a delay pedal, but it’s more than that. It can be a dirty boost with some “space”, it can generate an ambient pad with a strange modulation, it can make noise. This will not replace your digital delay, and it won’t replace your nice analog delay either, but what it will do is add a new third thing into your setup that is something different.

It’s best to think of this as a quirky delay, dirt, and boost all wrapped up together. It will respond to other pedals before it in your signal chain, and it is also loud enough to overdrive amps and other pedals after it.

This is a weird, noisy pedal. It’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing - a wicked, unruly beast contented briefly between bouts of frustrated howls. It’s equally beautiful and sensitive as it is excessive and rowdy. It’s a delay, a vibrato, a chorus, a ring mod, nor really is it any, with dirt and humanity, it can modulate itself based on the strength of the input signal, it becomes unpredictable. Mojo Hand FX Little Wonder We took the funk from our original Wonder Filter and squished it into a smaller, pedal board friendly enclosure with a simplified set of controls! The Little Wonder has classic envelope filter sounds for any rig that needs a little quack to it. Very responsive to your playing dynamics, we fine tuned the envelope to be quick and easy to dial in, but versatile enough to satisfy guitars, basses, and keyboards alike.

CONTROLS: -BP/LP Switch: Band Pass or Low Pass, sets the type of filter. Low Pass slopes off the high end. Band Pass is a filter that slopes off the highs and lows, think of the filtering effect of a wah pedal. -Blend: From fully dry to fully wet. While most guitarists will find this knob at home cranked all the way to the right, bass players who gotta have tha' funk can rejoice! Being able to blend in the dry signal helps dial in the critical mix of the foundational bass note with just the right amount of character from the filter. Guitarists can definitely have some fun with this, too. -Peak: Adjusts the resonance, or the boost at the cutoff frequency of the filter. This will help dial in the sharpness of the filter. Further left will be a smoother roll off, high setting will sound sharper, quackier, and a bit willy sounding. -Gain: Adjusts the input sensitivity of the envelope. This will need to be fine tuned depending on the instrument, your playing dynamics, and your preference of how reactive of an envelope you want. This is not "gain" like on distortion pedals, it does not add distortion.
