Thanks for the reply. Everything is clear now. I think I can delete them, I did save the page after I did created the Gear , then there is a site saying delete Item, so I save those in my brower. I did not try if it really works , but i think I can delete my own entries.

Both can be great, I would say this is just another color to the tone, thats why you choose digital or analog, when there is a choice. Only in some cases you will not find much of a diffrence, when you want then some you need another solution.

The Gear of Incubus Guitarist is here: https://equipboard.com/pros/mike-einziger-incubus?gear=amplifiers
The record is different from what is played Live I think, on the record there is a real accustic guitar, on this song I think. In the Video to this Song Mike Einziger plays Humbuckers , when he did not use the Guitar just for the Video persentation. Live Mike Einziger plays a Fender Telecaster for this song over a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Trem-O-Verb Combo Amp, and does use some pedals, he plays live a clean Guitar with Telecaster goes in the direction of accustic and with some crunch for the Refrain and a Compression Sustainer, you can hear live very a cleanish Telecaster Tone, after the Intro he got a reverb and delay on. The Tone is not really complicated to replicate of what he is playing Live, of course in respect to the Quality the record is weird its very Studio pushed , I think it can not be played like this, thats why his setup live is different from the record. A Cruchy Amp or Amp simulation like a Vox crunch or Vox kindish cruchy pedal, would go in the direction , with a Telecaster and some pedals for more crunch , delay, reverb, and a lot of compression.

Ah OK Thanks , OK only the Request and only Items can be identify , but there is an issure with that I think, because some old Items can not be identify anymore because of lost informations. And I have a Question , there was request of an Item which had no catagory , it was MIDI Programmer for a MIDI Controller, but we have only the catagory of MIDI Controller , so I put it there, should I better not add things without a detailed catagory too ? Yes I can delete my entries too.

When you add Gear to an Artist Then there is just a very small Size Picture of the Gear Poping up hard to see if its really the Gear you wanna add. There has to Pop up something showing the bigger Picture somehow before you finally Add the Gear , maybe also in the next page, I think this will save a lot of work and time of deleting wrong submissions later.
Also to have Brand add like Video add under Item gear add , cause a lot of times you wanna add an Item or gear and then you see that the brand does not exist , so you have to move back and 1st add the brand before the gear.

It Says: 1 error: Artist name cannot be submitted again.
Please add Guitarist Naoya Ogura https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_of_the_Fermenting_Dregs
He was not in the List, so I filled out an Add Artist Request and an Error did appear saying: 1 error: Artist name cannot be submitted again. It is strange.
When going to search for: Naoya Ogura nothing appears , so does not exist and can not be already added I think.

Stratocaster Whammy Bar Detuning
I got also an old 90ties Squier Strat, using the whammy bar does just detune my guitar when doing it too intense or over a longer time and I did set it up as a Floating Tremolo. You might check your Nut where the String are sitting in , watch with a magnifying glass if the plastic rubs against the strings and the plastic has very unsober done and stressed out holes, when yes.... better clean the sides of the holes just a tiny tiny tiny tiny bit, beware do not make them deeper and do not make your holes wider, Sandpaper that does not take off much and polish a bit the sides, be carefull and take a look if they are already sober, it just takes tiny moves without much pressure, its just to make it a bit rounded on the edges and get rid of plastic brushes/spikes on the left and right edge side only , in the holes. And after that a bit Graphit into it with a pensil. When Strings can not slip there free , the strings get stuck and sometime slip very aggressive, what has a much harder impact on the Tuners, so they can detune very fast, even more when using a whammy bar, when the strings can slip more free, the energy of the impact is smaler to the tuners and the detuning does take longer to happen. Also when you set new , fresh strings on, do loose them a bit and bend them, but do not deform them, do not make kinks into the strings, with new strings not bended the tuners also suffer to stay in tune.

For Active Pick ups you have to modify your guitar , you will need a battery compartment 9V or so. Active do sound more cleanish and straight Passive more dynamic and organic Active Pick ups were a time like 90ties metal played a lot like EMGs Pick Ups still some play Actives but these days a lot switching back to passive Pick ups like the ones were mention by jimmarchi1 like Duncan or Dimarzio passive Humbucker Hot Wired. I think you got already there good pick ups for Metal, when you are not getting the metal tone you want, it might be more the Amp or wrong Overdrive. To get a specific Metal Tone look up Bands you like and then watch here what they play like AMP, Pedals ... there is not really good or better, its just all different in Sound. But I would not modify and drill the Guitar you got just for active pick ups, a new guitar with active pick ups is not so much more money , then brand new EMGs do cost already 200-300 Dollars. As far I can see on your equipment you do not got an AMP will be good for Metal Tones , you wanted to buy a new AMP or not ? You got already the DigiTech HardWire TL-2 Metal Distortion , you might want get also an Overdrive for Metal here is also a lot possible like Friedman OD, Revv Overdrive, EVH Overdrive, some use EarthQuaker Devices Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3, some do even use a Fuzz for Metal like an earthquaker devices hizumitas or even more like the Earth Quaker Devices Erupter or just the AMP with an Tube Screamer.

You got there the Ibanez RG6003FM, with 5-Way Pick-up Selector and Ibanez Quantum bridge and neck (Humbucker) passive / ceramic Pick-ups. And you wanna change them to more or less what ?

anyone know what pedals these are?
Sorry, I do not know , but the Design looks like JAM Pedals, but I do not think they are JAMs.
2yover 2 years ago
You should also try a fender bass breaker.
Yea , I said we can rule out Fender, but a fender bass breaker can go "Metal", with some help. When you try them out maybe also with a tupescreamer or an Friedman OD when you want even be more aggressive on AMPs, the cleans on a Bass Breaker are good too, in respect not so bright like all the other Fenders , it will combine nice to a chorus pedal and other modulation pedals.
2yover 2 years ago
My bad, I should've been more specific. When I said I want a pedal platform amp for metal, what I should've said was a pedal platform amp That is great for cleans with chorus and also good for metal.
Then Fender, VoX .... can be ruled out , you are looking then more for AMPs like Revv , some EVH , Hughes & Kettner, some Victory, small Marshall, small Orange maybe , ... Engl or Soldano, Peavey , Laney , Diezel, Randall, Fortin these are mostly loud AMPs not so much you are looking for but would be great with a band, but they all do cost mostly more then your budget , maybe you get one Used or a bit more money for small wattage solution, AMPs like modern Revv, Hughes & Kettner, small Marshalls, small Orange, modern Victory, modern EVH you might get manged to play for home use or heavy sound then at home only from pedals. For Heavy Tone you might wanna also try how they sound with a Tubescreamer or a Heavy Overdrive Pedal on Top, like the Friedman OD.
More digital sounding and not so much for pedals but better for home use still the Katana, but only when you like the Sound of these AMPs and can be happy with that, or like emulated things like the Kemper, like was mentioned.
The range of volume is also now clear , you wanna go for an AMP at home and Band but not louder like Gigs, then some AMPs you can rule out because they are too loud and you got a good range now where you choose an AMP from. You looking more for small Tube AMPs Combos, or maybe a Mini Head, or modern AMPs got digital stuff build in to get them quiet and ready for Metal like a Revv G20, or an AMP will sound very great with a band louder but at home you just use pedal and its good mostly clean used and OK for practise but not that great with heavy sounds. Giant AMPs are not so much you budget and difficult at Home, but you might love the sound and find a good used one, like a bigger Marshall then you will focus the AMP more for the Band.
2yover 2 years ago
You still did not mention more details like the purpose of the AMP , only at Home , or in a Band , both , on Gigs
Also it seems like you are not very clear about for what sound you wanna go for , even as pedalplattfrom your AMP will always define the main character of your sound. Befor buying an AMP most people do know what they wanna achieve, for exsample I did want to have the typical Fender clean sounds and Fender reverb , thats why I did choose a Fender , and the Hod Rod because it can be loud enough in a Band and small Gigs and because its a bit cheaper then a deluxe reverb, also when the hod rod is not a very good long lasting AMP , I am very happy with this AMP. But maybe you will find your Sound you wanna achieve, when you try out some AMPs.
Yes like I said the AC10 is in your budget , but not really a pedal plattform, cranked it might be too loud to use it at Home , depends on your volume barrier at home. The Katana is good at Home, it takes pedals but is also not really a pedalplattform, its sounds good, but still it sounds a bit digital and lifeless compared to tube AMPs, you will find out when testing AMPs, the Katana Artist (does cost a bit more then you budget I think) you get some extras where its easier to record music , then you do not need to mic up the AMP for recording.
And listen also to jimmarchi1 he got much more knowledge about AMPs then I do, specially technical. He is very right when saying Use YOUR stuff and see if you can tweak everything to make your ears happy at volume levels you will realistically use day in day out.
When you tryout Used AMPs with your pedals you might find a good AMP as pedalplattfrom, but also read about the risks we mentioned , when buying a used AMP, when its possible check the AMP inside, be careful of high voltage even unpluged do not touch inside an AMP - never.
I can not say something about EVH AMPs never saw and never had one in person, sorry.
For a really great pedalplattform I would save some more money, but maybe you will find an great AMP in your current budget when testing them, or you will see then you might wanna save some more money.

Universal Studio again with New Pedals its crazy.
They're just porting their satellite plugins into stomp boxes. If they use the same type of sharc processors it's just a matter if replacing the gui with a physical interface. The r&d for the actual sound processing is already done. I have to admit I want to get my hands on a Ruby to see if it really captures a 60s ac30.
I'm not sure I followed a lot of what you said though, are you using google translate or something?
No Im not using a google Translator , but yes I am not a native english speaker , I am from West Germany and my english did rest too long , I have to be more careful when writing something, but my english will improve fast I think, because it was much better before.
And when you would buy a ruby, you will register the product or are you concern of that ? I would already brought the Ruby and Lion , but I will not just because you have to register the product for updates and extras. I heard US Citizen do not care so much about giving Data and personal digital Informations, but when you are in some way forced to it, its clear that there is something fishy going on.

Universal Studio again with New Pedals its crazy.
Universal Studio did release again 3-4 new Pedals UAFX Lion '68 , UAFX Brigade , UAFX Flow , UAFX LA-2a ,
They released ..
Heavenly Plate Reverb , Evermore Studio Reverb , Orion Tape Echo , 1176 Studio Compressor , OX Stomp Dynamic Speaker Emulator ,
just a short time ago and before that ... Max Preamp & Dual Compressor , Del-Verb Ambience Companion , Galaxy '74 Tape Echo & Reverb , Dream '65 Reverb Amplifier , Ruby '63 Top Boost Amplifier , Woodrow '55 Instrument Amplifier , Golden Reverberator , Starlight Echo Station , Astra Modulation Machine ,
Crazy how fast they spam the market with pedals. What do you think of the new and old Pedals of UAFX ? You got a pedal of Universal Studio already ? And what do you think of the force to / need to register for using them to full potential ? Do you think your Guitar Tone does sound too much Hifidelity and Digital by such Pedals or is that OK with you ? And you got also the feeling that Music Studio Gear is becoming more and more important to Guitarists even on Stage, Practise Room and at Home ?

Yea heard about the problems of AMPs not been played a while.
this should be another Post, but the next AMP I am going for is an Marshall 2203 JCM 800 Reissue Head, I was also thinking about an Marshall JVM410H Head but I did rule that one out , because I heard different things about this AMP, some say the JVM410H wil last long and is good build , others say they are not good at all, some even had an JVM410H delivered and it was already dead so I will go for the Marshall 2203 JCM 800 Reissue, but also here , I know one person had that AMP just last about 4 years then he did replace it with an Orange. What do you think of those AMPs , you know em for sure ?
2yover 2 years ago
Yes I agree , also AMPs like the Fender Hot Rod are not that good and break after a while, because of cheap builds inside.
Yes, to buy an used AMP is risky , specially when not tested before that it does function at all, when you know how damaged capacitors are looking like , leaking, signs of overheating like black burns, fat grown blown capacitors ... Fotos can help to make a choice before testing the AMP and be sure its not used to death.
"This. When you settle on a dream amp, save up for it. Buy no other gear until you get the AMP for you. If you can only gave 1 AMP stay away from "all arounders" and settle on YOUR sound and get a durable amplifier that does the thing you want most of the time. Save your money, test lots of amps to narrow the list, read reviews to determine roadworthiness, and buy the amp that fits the bill."
Yes totally agree here , better save money and buy what your target is in sound and AMPs are mostly not allrounders, when they are, they mostly have their issues or are very digital, or just good in one of all the sounds, an AMP is the most important to spend money on and for the right Sound where you have to focus on what you wanna go for.

For what purpose , playin in Band , Small Room, Garage , Bedroom, Gigs in bars , Church, only at home ?
Whats about your Fender Mustang LT25 25W ??? Its not very pedal friendly , you wanna go now for Tubes, I guess ?
You might wanna Test Out a Roland Jazz but they are very cleanish and but not for Metal you said playing also Metal, or a Bugera Infinium, or a Blackstar , a VoX AC10, maybe a cheap Fender blues junior but they are not so much a pedal plattform but this is also not for Metal and might be not loud enough for small Gigs, but would be in that price range ..
To Buy an Used AMP is risky , you might have a local shop got used Guitar AMPs you can try out, then you might get a used VoX AC15, Fender Hot Rod, Marshall DSL20, when you play Rock and Metal something like a Marshall or an Orange would more for you , I would not blind order an used AMP just online.
Maybe just save some more money and take your time and buy then an AMP you more looking for, I am savin Money at the moment too, and will go for a Marshall 800 Head
or go out and test used AMP if possible at a local Store... you might also wanna see what sound you want to achieve, not exactly but the direction of it and buy an AMP from there, because there is a lot to have very different in sound, for 600 maybe something like a Blackstar would also fit your needs for Rock and Metal , also when it is not really a pedal plattform.
2yover 2 years ago
Yes I agree here, to use an attenuator shrinks the life of your AMP mostly and can also end bad on some AMPs, it is always better to go for 2 different Solutions when you wanna have Tupe AMP and playing it at Home and at the Same Time on Gigs, in respect of course you do not play your AMP at full potentional at Home, then there might be some Tube AMPs hitting both senarios or you mean by Home your shielded cellar or garage then there are options.
He got already the Vox AC10 and a Danelectro Honeytone N-10 as far as I can see, he might go for the AC10 at home and get a bigger AMP for the Gigs in large Halls only, There are a lot of ways he could go for, there are too less Informations, you can fail in some Point when giving recommendations, because of the lack of informations.
He also said we can recommend something different without a hint, he does not say it can be also a Transistor, or in Sound very different, there are too less Informations of what he wants to go for and his needs, also no information of the sound he is looking for or if he does searching for a different sound due to his AC10, also no Information of what field the AMP should be good at, cleans, gain, high gain, pedals, transport, combo, Head, Transistor, Tube, Budget, .....there is a lot left to know befor giving good recommendations.
2yover 2 years ago
Yes Sorry , my comment is misleading technical, Headroom, Distortion and Gain Stages are not the same and an attenuator changes the sound of the Gain. I was speaking there what sound you wanna go for with a cranked AMP and if it is still possible at home to use the AMP cranked or not, also on Gigs it might be too loud or not loud enough cranked, the whole circuit is coming here into play, how much Headroom you got and how the clipping sounds, even with different speakes you can be louder or have a diffrent kind of distorded sounds and other parts of an AMP does influence it.
2yover 2 years ago
Yes there are a lot of possibilities, the Morgan AC20 was just an exsample when you wanna put more money into it and go for an attenuator used between head and speaker at home, the Z Amps I can not say someting about it, never heard one in person, but is also then an exsample for more money and attenuator for home use I guess, because it will be too loud cranked, or you will play it with Pedals for Gain at home, you can also go for a VoX Head in combi with an attenuator at home, then you will need to pack more for Gigs. He did not say, if it has to be Combo or a Head is possible.
Gain Stage is important when buying an AMP , 1st its important for the sound you looking for, and 2nd it is important to look out for if you want to crank the AMP , there are some you will not play at home at all, so you always have to respect the Gain Stage in Mind when buying an AMP , you might can not use it at home and you have to consider for what kind of Gain you are going for. Like he said the AC30 he has to consider that the AC30 is much too loud and cranked at home will be painfull, the AC15 might also too loud at home, depends on "Home" you can not hush babies with it cranked, but possible with pedals at Home and goes full in a Band. His Profile said Indie Rock, there can be everything possible as Gain Stage from Non At All and using pedals, up to Crunch , up to hard modern gain stages used in modern metal bands, but looks like he is going for british crunch VoX like and nice cleans with pedals.
When someone wanna buy an AMP I always recommend go from the sound you wanna achieve and for what you wanna use the AMP for and how you use the AMP - cleans a lot and needs to sound great, you need just pedals, you need the AMP as a gain stage. This will limit him down to find the right AMP or might go for 2 different solutions at Home and Band.
2yover 2 years ago
Again too less Informations,.... Is the AMP only for Home use, or you will play in a Band or even in a Bar , at School, Open AIR ? Is there a Sound you looking for ? Like Amazing Clean , Pedal Platform , Needs to be Tube AMP or Not, or Amazing Gain AMP when an Gain AMP in which direction , Vox Gain, Marshall Gain, Crunch, or Heavy Gain ? An AMP is the most important for me when it comes to sound you can buy everyting cheap but the AMP for me I would spend some money, but there also people happy with the sound of AMPs do not cost so much and there are also some AMPs sound good or OK-ish at low price. And do you really need an AMP or you might wanna go for PC Plug ins or a Pedal AMP, ....
Like I said before in one Post ... look 1st what sound you wanna go for and what Use of the AMP is for , as far I can see you got already a small AMP I think for Home Use ? You might wanna go bigger now then you can play also in a Band, or you search just still something only for Home but just with better sound ?
For me Tube AMP sound the best, but they are expensive and they are also loud, here mostly cheap are recommend Vox15, Hot Rod Deluxe VI, Marshall DSL but you can play them not very cranked at home you need then pedals for Gain or an Attenuator. when you wanna stay with Transitor AMP , you might go for a Boss Katana like the Artist you can also record Music with, or a Fender Tonemaster , they sound great as Transitor AMPs also when I think Tube AMP just sound even much better, they are close to this sound and they can also be loud enough you might can use in a Band too.
But always look out for the Sound you wanna go for then choose the AMP for this point , like I can say now buy a Fender but you wanna sound in the direction of classic Metal like Metallica it would not make sense at all to buy a Fender, your profile says Alternitive Rock , mostly used Fender, Marshall, VoX as Pedal Platform, but even here is a lot of difference in sounds you might like or not, or you even might go for cheaper version of these sounds.
And on AMP when you got the possibilities go in a shop and try them out, its then much easier to find the right one.
I see a lot of Guitars on Your Wishing List, believe me an AMP is more important to the Sound and you will have much more fun playing guitar with a good AMP, Guitars are not so much important, they only need to be playable.
2yover 2 years ago
You did give too less informations... To play a AC30 at home is too loud, to play a AC15 even is loud if you wanna play it crank at home a AC15 at Home is OK when you just use Pedals for the Gain Stage and play it crank , when you do not got neighbours or on special days maybe a short time. Then you mention VoX AMPs do have a british crunch gain stage , you can also go for Fender but they are more good for cleans their Gain Stage is not often used but it takes pedales very well you can use , Fenders are also loud but can be played at home on Volume 1-2 like the AC15 but without the Gain Stage then. When you live alone without neighbours you might get the AC15 and play it crank in room when your family is OK with that. You also did not tell something about your budget , you might wanna buy an AMP like the AC30 for your Gigs and at Home playing something like the UA Ruby to a interface and normal speaker output. When you got a great Budget you might go for the MORGAN AC20 instaed of the VoX they are going in the same direction when comes to the Gain Stage and buying an attenuator to play at home like the Universal Audio OX Amp Top Box. To buy just one Tube AMP for home and for the stage is possible, but you can not really crank it at home when living in sensitive situations, you will be limited down to pedals for Gain, what can also be nice and OK for some people and for others it might be annoying and not acceptable.
There are so many possibilities. 1st you wanna to find out what kind of sound you want (unsure because you said something different) and if its important to play an AMP crank at home or not (not mentioned, but I guess Yes as a Rhy Player of a Rock Band) and look at your budget and go from there to choose an AMP. (not mentioned) also not mention if it has to be a Combo or can be Head And better try out an AMP in a Store or from other people, you will see then how quite they will go.

Tube amp users, how concerned are you guys about the potential tube shortage?
There will be much more in shortages in the coming Years of Climate Change, so.... enjoy as long as it will last.

Emma Ruth Rundle/Chelsea Wolfe tone
I do not know Chelsea Wolfe but her equipment is here to see, Emma Ruth Rundle there is a good rig down movie on youtube, When they recording they will have their effects for sure running into a real tape machine at the end or plug in of a tape machine Live Emma Ruth Rundle does use a Stereo Rig with the Red Panda Context Cathedral as Hall/Reverb Amps are mostly used as pedalplattfrom for Emma Ruth Rundle they are just a bit different cleanish so the stereo effect is more there I do not know what pedal you need for spring, plate and cathedral all at ones , you might wana try a plate or a spring and at the end a pedal which is a copy of the space echo, but most important is that you have a good Amp which does sound clean very good, natrual and wide or it will always sound boxy or too dull, or too digital then you will not achieve a natrual wide reveb and hall sound. On the song We Hit A Wall, she plays a vox amp and it sounds like kinda bit Lo-Fi reverb maybe the Death By Audio Echo Dream 2 , there is also delay can be the eventide or the dispatchmaster and I think some kinda Octaver and she got also changed her voice a lot with reverb and hall. There is even reverb on the drums I think. There is realy a lot reverb Hall ... effects I think the guitar alone would not sound that roomy.

The point of buying an expensive guitar?
Instruments which are cheaper are mostly build in Countries where workers do not get paid what they deserve to get payed and mostly produced more by machines and the Quality Controll is not that good, you mostly do not get your money back when wanna sell them, also the value of the Guitar will mostly not rise at all.
Then there are Factories building Guitars but they do the details Handcrafted = Medium Price up to Expensive
Normally Instruments are mostly handcrafted precise Tools , that has a lot of working hours to finish = Expensive. Some good factories might get these days closer to a handcrafted Guitar , but still only a few and not full there
Some do deal with expensive Guitars and when you buy one , you mostly get your full money back or even more.
Some got a new advanced crafting in them for a "better" sound, are produced slow in not so high amounts = will be expensive like some accustic guitars
And then there are Luxus Instruments with special expensive materials wood , Painting, materials .... = Even more Expensive
And then there Guitars you going to let build by your own wishes = Even much more Expensive
And then there are Guitars played by a famous Guitarist = can be the most expensive Ones
Some People need just a Guitar to try and start with = Cheap Some a working Guitar does the Job = medium up to expensive Some do need a guitar also as a Stage, Media Appearence and Image = more expensive Some wanna have the best fit = Custom Shop or Custom Build expensive Some a Guitar of a vamous Person to show off or as a reference for their Studio for exsample, to be interessting and have a story to tell.
In End you choose what does fit to you the best and on your budget you have or wanna spend, normally a guitar is always "expensive", because its a handcrafted precise and complicated "Tool", so it can not been produced cheap without paying the workers bad or having a not soo precise "Tool" but there are also Guitars are just luxury you do not really need, inrespect maybe when you into a bizz it might help Image, aestetic appearance , Hype and Trend , performence and expression, stories to tell, to be unique ... but even some famous people do not care, like Kurt Cobain did also play sometimes with a 200 Dollar guitar.
