So far I cover a lot of Missing Brand Logos, but please keep reporting me when you got a Brand for me without a Logo. Now that most are covered , they are not so easy to find anymore.

Hello , no its works fine for me I am not an expert on that , but here is a bit Help you might wanna tryout...

1. Search/Autocomplete Issue
   

Equipboard relies on an autocomplete search when adding gear to your personal list. If nothing shows up when you type, it could be due to:

Cache or cookies problem: Sometimes old data stored on your phone can interfere with the search.
Temporary server-side glitch: The autocomplete service might be down or slowed.
JavaScript issues (if using a browser): If the site’s JS doesn’t load properly, autocomplete won’t trigger.

Try this:

Log out and log back in.
Clear your browser cache or, if using the app, clear the app cache/data (or reinstall).
Try a different browser or device , if it works there, it’s local to your phone/app.
2. Account-Specific Glitch

Sometimes a specific user account can have corrupted search data. Rare, but it happens.

Check if other users report similar issues on Equipboard forums or social media.
If it’s just your account, reach out to Equipboard support , they may need to “refresh” your profile on the backend.
3. Phone or App-Specific Issues

Even if your OS is up to date, app updates can occasionally break features.

Make sure the Equipboard app itself is fully updated.
If you’re using a web browser on your phone, test desktop view or another browser.
4. Temporary Workaround

If you need to add gear immediately:

Search for the gear on the database, then use the “Add to your collection” button from the item page (bypassing the autocomplete search).

Yes Great work , I do not know that model too , but I would also say its a Kay or Harmony some kinda Archtop similar to the H1213. Maybe also Silvertone , the Pick Ups they have look similar to Kay Speed Bump , Roy Smeck (H54/H57) or Gibson P-13 Pick Ups, like on the Montgomery Wards Guitar. A weird Guitar its not an Airline , hard to say , can not find it, the closest I know is an Harmony H1213 Electrified Archtop.

Its great , as German I can choose Store: Thomann look for what I want like Effects choose a cheap one and then go for it.

Yea the Plumes is not the cheapest , but very cheap for what it can do. Love their Youtube Channel EarthQuaker Sessions, great Idea to invite Artist and let them Jam making a Pedal and Artist Promo everyone can watch without being annoyed by too much talking, just let the Pedals and Artist speak is a great Idea. They even had the Mass of the Fermenting Dregs from Japan in their Studio, love that Band at the moment I try to support a similar Band very new , releasing a few Songs soon They are called "When a Whale Dies", and did Mass of the Fermenting Dregs Covers before , now heading to do their own Music. The Earthquaker Devices Plumes for the Money it can create really good low to mid overdrive Sounds and can be tweaked very precise.

Yes hard to say , there will be still English Speakers writing Hofner but its Höfner. That is why I did long time ago Brand it as Hofner (Höfner) here. In German you can do ö = oe , ä = ae , ü = ue , but Not on Names this is just for normal words possible in german grama. On Names is ö or oe possible and you have to take it as its written, people do ask then also: Is your name oe or normal ö.

Hmmm yes hard to say , color can also be:
black , golden , chrome ... Hardware
white , black , double ... Pickguards
Zebra , Golden , Black , Lipstick ... Pick Ups
White Dots , Black Dots , Pearl ... Inlays
White , Cream , Black .... Bindings

And you might have another Guitar , with maybe another Price Tag and a different link to a shop.
Like we got some Guitars also Separated just because there are with or without Gisbey Trem and they got a different price

Yea its hard , ...
but i would not count that as Color Variation , it is more what is done to the Guitar...
like you got also with Tem, Floyed, Auto Tune, Split Coil , ... so you got Maple or Rosewood Fretboard , it is not just a color , it is for me also a different type of material and belongs to Hardware or Build.

Normally I would say , everything got the same Price , is mostly the same Item just with variations , a different Price mostly has to be done as A separate Item, but of course we have to respect that Used , Vintage, Super Rare , super Limited ... get sold differently so that does not always say you do another Item.
Variations do come normally into the Description , not in the Name , for years and colors now Tags are great, more specific in the Description.

So when some says like , but I got that Guitar with a Rosewood Fretboard not Maple , then you just add another Picture to it with Rosewood Fretboard , but is the Price very different , then it is a different Guitar and there has to be also a different Name for it, but do not Rosewood Fretboard normally into the Name of the Item.

Also re-issue is hard to say , there are 60ties and re-issue in the 90ties you still do this as a separate Item , when its is very new of course it makes sense but this re-issue will be then in 2050 maybe pointless , when its the same Build, when its a different Build its still not pointless, over decades you will end up with 100s of re-issues , hard to tell too.

you can now tag color/finish and year. You can pick a specific year or a decade.

Would love your thoughts or ideas on how you’d want to see that displayed. This is one of those updates that seems small but actually opens a lot of doors for making Equipboard more accurate (and way more interesting going forward 😎).

I think for Color in your own Equipboard you should be able to switch to the right Picture, not just choose the Tag of the Color. But that might be very complicated, so a lot got on their Equipboard the same Guitar but displayed and choose to have a different Picture that is displayed and saved to their Profile.

Looks good for me on that Page. Yes there are Millions of different colors like: Fiesta Red, Candy Red, Vintage Red, Chrome Red, Wine Red , Walnut ... we need to do this as a Textfield , not as checkbox
There is a Way for checkbox but will be complicated , just do Colors like White, Black , Green, Red, Blue ,Orange, Multi Color, Brown, Pink, Purple as Overall Match you can checkbox then, you can see that on some Websites on Clothes in Search Options, but i would say more no to that ....

But it will look Extreme with an Item got many Years and Colors like:

Color/Finish: Walnut , Black, Red, Sunburst, Tabacoburst , Yellow, Green, Black, White, ..
Year: 1972 , 1973, 1974, 1975 , 2000, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014
It might eat up the space there is.
Years we might bring down like: 70s Era , 70ties , '70 ...
But Color we can not I think , on some Items there might be 20 color variations.
And to say some might have very long names like: Lake Placid Blue Metallic Sparkle or 3-Tone Sunburst with Vintage Aged Finish , or Antique Olive Pearl over Aged White with Gold Sparkle , Translucent Cherry Sunburst with Aged Nitrocellulose Finish , Faded Pelham Blue Gloss over Mahogany Body , Fiesta Red Metallic Sparkle with Gloss Nitro Lacquer ....

Soooo you might need to Code that on some pages the Color is not displayed or just the 1st one and other Color Variations after that by etc. or ...
like:
Gibson ES-325
4.5 (21)
Color/Finish: Walnut , etc.
Year: '70 , etc.
And on the Item Page itself all the Eras , like under Years or Era: '70 , '80, '90 or 70ties , 80ties ...
And on the Item Page itself all the colors , like under Color Variations: Red, Green, Black, White, Blue , ...

We need then also Infos for the People doing a new Item like: "Info just name the Era like '70 , exact years into the Description" Textfield Years:
and for Colors Info: "Keep Color Names as short as possible like: Trans Red, without Aged, without Tecnic like Nitrocellulose , full color into the Description" Textfield Color:

But hard to say !!!! Some Items might have a lot of years added and colors you got then: 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 2003, 2020 and Black, Red, Yellow, Sunburst, Natural, Cherry ... it will end up in a very big listing , some Items be better just maybe 2 Colors and one year it was produced.

Another Idea to Color Tag: We might wanna color even years Typo , like the older it is , the more redish it will become and match the Red Vintage Sign and when it is: about 2020 it gets green color saying: 2025 in Green , 2000er would be yellow Typo awww ok yellow burns the eyes down lets skip it wtf sorry, 80ties and 90ties Orange Typo, 70ties 60ties ... or even later red in Color Typo. Or maybe just ask for: "is it Taged Vintage" when yes: do Years in Red Color , when not: do it in Green Color.

So we got then a Color Indicator for the ones looking for an Item and how hard it is to get it, also a Color Indicator for Vintage Fans.
