This thing is lit.
I do not have a pair of studio monitors. But I do have this. Thanks to whoever helped me to buy this! I couldn't afford it otherwise. Okay whatever. It has excellent; SUPER EXCELLENT noise reduction, and has natural sound.. I use this for everything - when I'm just listening to music, producing, or djing. Cool thing for its price, there might be better things for just a little more I have no clue as I havent dug up things, but this one is reasonable product, man!

Its okay
I don't prefer to use it much, since I cannot afford the costlier version. But in case I am too lazy to create my own sound, this is the most helpful thing. The filters are powerful, the arp is nice, and overall it actually has cool sounds but they are used by so many people that it will not make your production stand out.

Haven't used it much.
Came free with my midi so can't say :/ But I do know only 8 tracks can be used with it in one shot, and my projects peak more than 150 things. So you'll have no option but to struggle and bounce things to audio after every 8 tracks. As far as the looks go, Bitwig looks to me like a combination of Ableton with Logic Pro X.

Okay, serum is something you would definitely want to have! Be it dubstep, future bass, progressive house, or hip hop, or even classical : You can make literally anything you want, with the right knowledge on how to use it. It has a cool interface and its in built effects and also powerful. It saves so much automation. But enough of its pros. It does have some cons.. I only wished there were more macro, more assignable LFO, but it does not make much of a difference.. Overall, I would rate it 4.8/5.0.. Definitely a must have! ( But dont pirate it :P) I got my serum from splice's 20$ a month plan. And it costs 150 USD.. How less can you ask of such a nice synth! Also, before messing around with it, I recommend you to read the serum manual. The manual will make you set to use serum like a pro!

Very adaptive to all DAW and cool looking too!
LX88+ is a very cool MIDI Controller as a generic controller. You got all 88 keys and can connect it to every DAW with ease. You don't need any mapping software which is a plus. It got back lit pads and buttons and looks really cool in a live performance.

replying to the 14 year old me< NO SIR, NO MAPPING SOFTWARE DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU DO. You dont need mapping software for production, but maybe for live performances. Oh and its big and i use it instead of a digital piano, although Williams Legato is much cheaper than this. But it has a lots of more function. Its bulky and won't look nice until uness you have a big workstation (table).

maybe to learn dance music programming... the sad state of affairs in modern music is driven by people who can sequence a rum pattern in 4/4 and dial up a basic virtual synthesizer sound but have NOT 'learned music'... lots of cool ideas amongst the crap, but no one knows how to develop a piece of music anymore, even 3 minutes worth of music
