It's alright, still find myself grabbing my amptweaker though

Airis Effects aren't your same old "boutique pedal" with a new name and a new enclosure - these pedals really have their own thing going on, and are handmade in a one-man shop in Canada!

If you're looking for a SUPER high gain preamp/distortion pedal, unlike anything else on the market, check out the Hades!

Here's what the Airis Effects website says about the Hades:

The Hades High Gain Preamp

In a world of digital, it's nice to bring some organic analog tone back into the equation.

That's where the Hades comes in.

We've designed the Hades High Gain Preamp to be your "go to" pedal in any situation. Not only does it work amazingly well for direct recording with impulses, but it's an incredible backup rig or even main rig! Playing with a back line rig? Get some brutal tone out of it! Using something like a Torpedo Live cab simulator? Perfect! Run this straight into it for a light and portable rig that you don't have to worry about burning out tubes.

Did we mention that it's also incredibly tight and heavy?

the little "devil shadow" graphic is very appealing

Isn't it? Rick is a really great guy to deal with as well and he always has deals on reverb for different gear. I was really surprised how basic the circuit looks for how brutal the tone is

So I found out it's not a original circuit at all, it's just a modified Krank Maximus distortius how however you spell it
