Banjos are great, aren't they?
The sure are! Especially the ones with 5 strings!
Artist usage

Peter would bring out his Ode Banjo occasionally for several songs during The Monkees. He owned this banjo prior to being recruited into the band and is a professional player at it. One notable song that used this banjo would be "What Am I Doing Hangin' Round" and can be seen in the music video with a pickup attached next to the bridge to pickup the sound a bit more. This resulted in an electrified banjo sound.
