So sad to see Camel Audio go.
Sadly, Camel Audio has come and gone. I'm so happy to have a backup of this freeware plugin. Its effects give my mixes so much more crunch, snap, and lots more with it's 4 simple sections. If you listen closely, you'll hear it in some of my tracks.

Simply indispensable !!!
The Camel Crusher is one of my most used plug-ins - so much that I would rate it indispensable. One of my true desert island plug-in. The best part: It´s free :-) Excellent for filtering, adding distortion and charecter to your tracks.

I use it to do effects on my synths and vocals, I dont really use it for what its used for but dont ask me why I dont even know either. But this is a cool distortion plugin so anyone who is looking for a distortion plugin this is the best way to go in my opinion. 6.9/10
No Brainer. A MUST HAVE
This little thing is awesome on Bass, Kicks, and pretty much anything you wanna beef up or even distort. Its so powerful and Free!

Like a free version of Sausage Fattener
Personally, I prefer Sausage Fattener, as you can do a lot more different things with that, but this is good, too. It provides distortion (I made 3xOsc sound like an electric guitar), but that's about all it does. This is still a good plugin, though, and I recommend it if you don't have $15 to pay for Sausage Fattener.

Good subtle distortion
I have this and use it a lot on simple sounds when I want to get a quick distortion going without a lot of thought. It's not overly complex but gives some nice textures and sound enhancements.

I am going to miss Camel Audio.
CamelCrusher is one of the most awesome distortion plugins ever created. You can use it on everything...drums, synths, basslines....and it makes them dirtier and nastier.
